In a mysterious and remote snowy outpost, Matt (Jon Hamm) and Potter (Rafe Spall), share a Christmas meal together and swap creepy tales of their earlier lives in the outside world. Matt is a charismatic American trying to bring the reserved, secretive Potter out of his shell. Are both men who they appear to be?
Along the way we see Jon Hamm offering an unusual form of romantic guidance to an inexperienced young man, watch Oona Chaplin thrust headlong into a nightmarish world of ‘smart’ gadgetry, and explore what might happen if you could 'block' people in real life, just as you can on Facebook or Twitter.
All three stories are bound together into a suitably unsettling whole. Fans of eerie Christmas stories are in for a treat…

I know picking holes in black mirror logic is fun, but surely blocking is a massive hazard given you can't see if someone you block is going to attack you. and it makes sense that people you've blocked would be the most likely to attack you, out of the incredible frustration. so jon hamm's character is blocked by everyone, he could just wander around with a gun and no-one would know
@Kingolimar354
@Kingolimar354 Жыл бұрын
Definitely a huge hall, you can at least see a silhouette so you’d be able to see if they had a weapon, but yeah you’re limiting your information on a potential attack. You’re also probably exasperating someone into potentially attacking as it would be their only way to communicate with you at that point

But when Jon Hamm's character walks out into the real world, he can see the items they're holding (i.e., shopping bags). I assume it's the same thing for everyone else.

Andy Mak none of that is logical. It's inhuman to even consider this. It's an amazing episode but to think how many people would abuse this power is insane. There's ho happiness behind it. I don't think it counts when a father thinks his child is being taken away from him with ZERO explanation. His murders were not intentional, however, leaving the old man looks so bad if you weren't actually there and May's death could have been prevented. Literally all home girl had to do was be honest and tell him the truth. Her cowardice ruined so many people.
