That was AWESOME!! I am not a plumber but I'm a gadget-guy and always appreciate a good tool/equipment store. Great buy Ollie! Like to do more of that if the opportunity presents itself again. Thumbs up to Jetter's Edge for helping Ollie and showcasing their equipment. Thank you for sharing Ollie. Great content as expected. 👍👍

A lot of KZfaqr's get companies to sponsor their video or channel. They pay you to put their products in your videos. You should negotiate a deal with these guys...you seem to have a gr8 relationship with them. Get the money Ollie $$😉
@timramich4 жыл бұрын
I think he is an employee of that DrainGo company. if he is, he likely just goes to that store and gets what he needs with a company credit card or through an open account. Setting up a deal with an employee to sponsor parts for them, and only them, because he's the only one working there that makes videos showing their products, could get messy. If he owns the company, then that would be another story, and easily done.
@Tedybear3153 жыл бұрын
When you use the link in the description under the video it has his 'name' attached to the end of it. So he does get some credit for bringing people over to the stores website. Does he get a discount for 'trade'? Probably, as he does a fair bit of marketing their brand. If not? That's not our concern now is it. It's decent video content and as one can see with the walk 'round the shop, this stuff isn't cheap for a reason. Cheap= limited functionality and limited results. I can see where this rotary cutter tool has many uses where you do not want to make a huge mess in someones property. It's a good alternative. Some people swear by jetting only, and some swear by snaking only. The smart people that earn the $$? Are the ones that are skilled at both and can get the job done quickly and effectively. It's a good tool for the "utility belt". Have a super day!

That was an awesome buy. I can't wait to see it used again in future videos. Also, nice tour of the tool store. Lastly, smart move using the camera and this together. Makes it easy to spot tangles and such so you don't end up with any issues getting the chain out. Plus indoor jobs like this are cleaner 😊

SittingMoose Shaman so true, they're just two different roads that will get you to the same destination.
@tubester45672 жыл бұрын
@@JonnyRicter We use metric for most things but imperial for others. Those tools like "rigid" is made in the US so the fittings are US imperial. A lot of pipe threads for plumbing is still imperial usually British imperial as well as hoses. British and US imperial pipe threads and fittings are different so it can get complicated. So basically we have British imperial, US imperial and metric. Car tyres will still call imperial. Most builders will cut and measure in metric, most other things are metric. You really need to know them all.

I recently bought one of those. It works great up to 70 feet. And you can video the whole time with your camera in the line. You need to be running water at the same time and work backwards as much as possible.

WOW!! I missed this and I've been dying for an episode like this! Awesome!
be careful with them chain whips, they get all them roots and paper tangled up and makes it hard to get the chain head back out of the lines if there are several fittings or like here, a small entry hole !!

Considering the time and money involved in calling a pro, I was wondering at what point it would make sense for the average homeowner to buy this equipment. At those prices, though, you'd have to have a lot of stoppages before you break even on the money.

I like that JetEx turbo nozzle you used in the one video to clear out to the stream for a storm drain. I don't think they make quite as nice stuff for the US market as they do in Australia. Too bad the British and Americans couldn't come together for pipe thread standards. They both use inches, and they're only 1 thread per inch off, and the angle of each "tooth" of thread is slightly different. It's not like BSP is metric. I'd like to actually buy one of those nozzles. Just to screw around with or use at work to clear pipes.
