Thank you for being an honest drain mechanic! I feel for her, being older and on disability myself. I'm always afraid of being ripped off. One drain guy, supposed to be great and a big company in the States, wanted to charge me $500 to replace a whole outside faucet and said that he needed to cut into my wall. After doing some research, it was a $1 O-ring that needed replacing, which I did myself. I pray you get blessed for the good work you do. As far as I'm concerned, you would be on my short list to call, if I lived in Australia. Which I'd move in a heartbeat if I hit the lottery. Definitely a top-line job!

We have several big companies here that only poke a hole in a clog, knowing it won't last long and they will get a call back, and charge again. I just went behind one of those company's that cleaned the drain on tuesday, then on thursday it was stopped up again, I found 2 spots in the main drain that were clogged, ran the jetter, cleaned the whole pipe, put the camera down to confirm and that was 5 months ago. About once a week, when I go by to eat at that restaurant, I fill up the mop sink which is at the back end of the drain and watch the water go down that 4" drain like a tornado, that way I know it will push things down to the street and I also know its flowing good.

In your opinion, do you think the other plumbers get it flowing, fixing it just enough, so that the customer will need their services again in the near future? Or are they just too busy to spend much time doing a thorough job? What's the deal with that?
