As soon as you said it was non-compliant, I immediately understood why no plumber would touch it. They probably got the point you were at and realized what they were looking at... then refused to proceed further for liability reasons

It's ridiculous that plumbers and drain cleaners have to hunt and dig for inspection shafts and clean-out accesses below ground. They should be above ground, where they can be easily seen. I feel for ya, Bruce.

My mantra when it comes to Plumbers: Always treat them with the utmost respect and pay them what they ask for with a smile and big thanks. Great video and thanks for taking the time to film and share!

Oh wow I just realised you have all KINDS of equipment. I made 2 really naive comments about modifying the hose a few videos ago and now I am really embarrassed. Of COURSE you guys have thought of stuff like that!! It never occurred to me as all this is entirely new to me. I especially like what you did putting the hose down with the nozzle pointing UP so it FALLS into the side pipe. I would never have thought of that in a million years. Salute!

This is more a comment about your last video: On a 14-day trip to Japan, I ate deep fried food 8 or 9 times, Bruce. It never crossed my mind once about their grease trap situations. My missus and I have been binge watching your gurgler adventures for a little while and I have to tell you that today I got my German machine out, Mr K for Karcher. I spent 3 hour dressed in my gortex trousers and welly boots and a Tee shirt. first week of October and it's 19° C, what a bloody day for it. My father took slide pictures as the family house was constructed in 1969. Just the other day I had cause to break out the album and show the electrician pictures of the 220 run for the dryer. Made the just cost estimate a lot faster and the job easier.

Id' prefer this video over any murder mystery-/true crime-/thriller story. Excitement is kept on a high level, and seeing Detective Drainmaster finally solving this case, which left his numerous predecessors clueless, is utterly satisfying.

I was I maintenance manger, on a property that was over 50 years old, it was a165 units I found all the clean outs hidden and covered with sheet rock. I made it a policy that when the unit was vacant we found and put excess panels in so we could have the clean outs available. Also implemented every ten weeks we had are mains jetted because we had a back flow issue. When I first started bottom floor units were getting backups and nobody took the time to figure out why, they would just call someone out and snake the main, but it goes to show that has a home owner or property owner make it a point to know where your clean outs are and have your lines checked with a camera to see if you may have a future problem, the best maintenance you can do is preventative maintenance.

Up to 44,000! Awsome Bruce!
