This video talks about problem of nasal blockage and its homeopathic treatment . Three major reasons behind it including allergies, nasal polyps and deviated nasal septum are discussed. It also discusses homeopathic medicines to relieve nasal blockage as per each of the causes.
The main reason for blocked nose is chronic allergies. The allergies can be divided into two parts. First is allergic rhinitis with thin nasal discharge and sneezing. Second part is thick nasal discharge from chronic long standing allergies. If nasal blockage is related to allergic rhinitis with symptom of sneezing and thin nasal discharge, the most important medicine indicated in this condition is Natrum Mur. Other effective medicines for same are Arsenic Album and Sabadilla. If there occur thick nasal discharge and blocked nose from nasal allergy or sinusitis then the most effective medicine is Kali Bichrome. Another very helpful medicine for blocked nose with thick nasal discharge or posterior nasal discharge is Hydrastis.
Second cause is nasal polyps; that refers to over growth of nasal mucus lining from chronic allergies. The most effective medicine for dissolving nasal polyps is Lemna Minor and can be taken in mother tincture form. It is one of the best medicine and helpful in treating almost every symptom of polyp. It works well in right sided as well as left sided nasal polyp and also in antrochoanal and sinus polyp hence helps to relieve the nasal blockage. Sanguinaria Can is very effective medicine for right sided nasal blockage caused by nasal polyp. For left sided polyp medicine Teucrium can be used.
Third most important cause is deviated nasal septum (DNS). In DNS if septum is deviated in severe form obstructing nasal passage then surgery is definitely required and very helpful. But there are cases where septum is very mildly deviated but not to an extent of obstructing nose then surgery doesn’t not prove to be very helpful. This is due to reason that blocked nose is not arising exclusively from mild DNS but from superadded contributing factors like allergies, infection or polyps along with mild deviation of septum. So in cases of mild DNS with these contributing factors homeopathic medicines are very helpful. A very useful medicine for DNS with allergies and infection is Ammonium Carb. In many of the cases of DNS, where allergies or infection or nasal polyp are present then medicines described above are very effective depending on symptom and cause of blockage.
