Hey Talha, good question. Both themes are very similar. In my opinion the interface of Blocksy (the Customizer) is easier and there are more option in adjusting the blogpage and posts. With WooCommerce you can have a second hover image. I like the sticky functions, the cookie consent extension and the latest blogpost extension. Both themes are great!

Yes! I definetely will make a comparison. Astra, Kadence and Blocksy have a lot of similarities. At this moment Blocksy is the best in my opinion. But all themes keep on improving, that is why I sometimes switch in my opinion.

We don't have a Gutenberg plugin yet, but we plan to create a suite of blocks in 2021. At the moment Blocksy works very well with Stackable, Qubely and Getwid blocks plugins. You don't have to use Elementor or Gutenberg for this, Blocksy already have a lot of cool features for blogging in it's free version :)

Hey Kashmir, thank you. I would always make a backup before changing your theme. The theme determins the header, footer and styling of blogpost and WooCommerce pages. And sometimes a theme comes with Gutenberg and Elementor Elements. Having said that, you can try it 😊

@@ferdycom But is it also easy if you build many pages like an agency? It looks like the most multipurpose themes, e.g. the7 theme. In my opinion Elementor is more powerful and flexible. Maybe no such as easy as Blocksy is. :-D

You are welcome. At this moment Blocksy is my favourite theme but I keep looking at Kadence and Astra.

Personally use Blocksy Pro. I have tried other themes, but I like more Blocksy.

It seems Blocksy and Kadence are very similar. Kadence seems to load slightly faster but the difference is small. As someone looking at both these themes with intention of probably going pro version I feel Blocksy looks expensive. If Blocksy had a Gutenberg plugin to extend the blocks so I don't need elementor then I'd consider it. Blocksy existed first but based on features and templates etc it does seem Kadence has overtaken?

Hey Gary, from my side the Blocksy works better, fast loading + functionality. Also, I read in many sources that Kadence copied (stolen) the design, functionality and UX from Blocksy free, also they use influencers to denigrate the Blocksy image, not fair-play... I recommend you to try both and decide for yourself. There are many independent videos on YT that explain why the Blocksy is better and need to be supported.

@@Tuby Yes looking deeper I'm coming to conclusion that if comparing free versions Blocksy offers more. I'm still trying to work out if I can do what I need with free or if I need pro. I'm happy to buy pro but comparisons on pro are harder. As an someone looking to move away from elementor for some projects I sense that default Gutenberg is still lacking some blocks. Kadence has their own block add-on whereas Blocksy doesn't yet. Also Kadence has more starter sites. I'm not denying that Blocksy was first or that perhaps Kadence copied it but as the end user I'm trying to back the one that offers best value and is likely to be around long term. I'm tempted to go with Blocksy but I'm getting this nagging sense that Kadence is moving faster. We might not like influencers pimping one over the other but it does seem to influence WordPress users. Constant changes to my theme means new learning curve. I'm trying to work out which one to back now. Part of me thinks go with Blocksy free and hope they work hard on things that will give me confidence to buy pro. The other part of me thinks Kadence is showing signs of quicker progress and might be the one that wins the war.

​@@sergiu-radu All themes are inspired from each other. Sometimes they get a new idea, and then many themes start implementing it if it's a good idea, that's just how it is in almost any niche related to art/design/tech.
