The reason why this mod is called “Call of the Void” is because it uses the official Sonic.exe lore, and the exes used in this mod were born in the void shaping their selfs into looking like Sonic, and the reason why the survivors look petrified is because they are human soul’s trapped inside of their favorite Sonic character

also fun fact, 2011 X is actually the past version of Lord X, and (could be wrong) 2017 X is X some point between 2011 X and Lord X, and EXE is X's canon creation that he banished to another Earth due to having ideals conflicting with his own plans

Lu if youre still wondering about the characters why they arent named as the original ill give you the answer Explanation:On yt you can search up sonic analog horror and its disturbing cause they (sonic tails and knuckles) were human but they died sonic died and his skin was peeled and tails had his limbs ripped and knuckles head pulled up that you can see his bones and yea im just explaining the lore then sonic tried holding the monster and knuckles ran which is why you see hide and seek (angel island on fire) and a baby lost his skin which is why metal sonic was created PLS LU HEART ME AND PLS LIKE I TYPED THIS HALFWAY OF THE VID

In round 8 tails killed himself to be an exe on purpose: those are usually called suiciders and they try to make the survivors lose, simply dont revive them since its just a waste of rings for the team.

Hey luis its me back again... I just wanted to ask if you planned to do more characters in pillar chase 2. I also have tips for exe learn the path of usual survivors and place traps around corners because if they see you trap they will most likely destroy it. If you need to quickly take out a survivor as exe, combo a too slow and a normal attack. And also MX (basically Mario exe) MIGHT be coming soon its unconfirmed
