I remember the first time I heard this. I turned on the radio and it was already playing. I thought “Blondie’s back?! That sounds GREAT!” Right after I called the DJ to make sure and I asked “Was that Blondie?” And of course he said yes, and I asked him the name of the song. What a comeback it was! What a great band, man.

This was such a great song for Blondie to "come back" with. Debbie really has got better with age. She moves better in her 50s than she did in her 30s. Of course with DH as the band's focus the guys get forgotten as to what a good band they were.

Love how the band keep a massive space around her, as if they will burn in her light if they come to close, she is such an Empress. They have always bene marketed this way and it is part of their mystigue, yet they are superb band in their own right.

For the last couple decades I had thought "Maria" was from Blondie's original run in the 80s. It is a good song with all the youthful energy and sass of 1980s Blondie. I was surprised and impressed that it came out in the late 90s with Ms. Harry in her 50s. Clem Burke seems to be having the most fun in the world.

Debbie Harry -- what can you say!? Certainly stunningly beautiful. And she had a remarkable voice. And she made her band better than they could be alone. Just look at the drummer Clem Burke. And in a live performance she was as good as any other female rock star. Divine?

One of blondies best songs, sometimes bands comeback songs aren’t that great but this isn’t the case here, the bass has a real pumping driving beat to it and really compliments the song and last but not least Clem’s fantastic drumming pounding out the beat
