34:16 took me ages to get this as an architecture student but this is the reason we have a ground floor then first floor otherwise it gets confusing. So technically your all ways on the ground floor unless there’s a first floor.

They mentioned the [LANCE] ability a couple of times ob the blood angels side. As far as I can see no unit in that army has the lance ability. Am I missing something?

It's a Stratagem called Red Rampage, 1CP and gives you lance and lethal. Hope that helps mate

Admech vs Blood Angels. Oh no. That's quite a list. You brought ruststalkers. There are breachers in there, and you brought Cawl. Yea. Judging by the list, you were probably dead from the word go, mate, but what surprised me during the match is that you lasted as long as you did and scored as much as you did. Good job.

This is precisely why doom and gloom about a whole ass army is fucking stupid. It's a game. Their win rate before buffs was 44% completely winnable. Form your own opinions next time

@@TriforceofJacob I did? Ruststalkers don't do well against blood angels as they dont have fights first. Breachers once engaged in melee are terrible, and Cawl didn't do much of anything in this game. After the iron-striders died to rapid ingress, there was no reason to respect anything in the admech roster, and he could have been much more aggressive.

Please... Get more Admech painted so you don't have to proxy, and can run actually competitive lists on whats meant to be a competitive channel. Dropping all the free wargear that is 100% taken by any Admech player, that kills Marines, in a battle against Marines, is one of the decisions of all time.

But unfair. As Jake said, he wanted to keep it simple for first game back with Admech. The upgrades on the battle line units are great but hardly likely to tip the balance. All the more reason to get more Admech!

@@Pazzo1292 I don't agree with deliberately reducing the army's lethality for "keeping it simple." How hard is a basic plasma profile? Or just reading the datasheet? Not using hydraulic claws on the Breachers? Come on... They're not even Breachers models, could say they have whichever weapon.

I’m starting to think their Admech player either isn’t very good or deliberately sabotages himself cause every Admech list I see in this channel is badly optimized for any strategy or tactics

@@williamhanna9718 I think he's probably a good player but he has absolutely no idea about Admech. Doesn't know the unit names, doesn't know the profiles, and (largely because VT doesn't have enough Admech models) all the lists are competitively terrible and full of unsuitable unit choices for the detachments. Removing all the wargear was just the icing on the cake here, because the list wasn't good to begin with. If Stephen Box can be hosted on other channels like Play on Tabletop, it might be nice to see VT host... Idk, an actual Admech tournament player, to play an actually good version of the army on the channel for a change? Until there's even a remote chance of Admech competing from the list build stage, I'm sick of the army being put on VT's battle reports just to lose.

I get you need to know a lot of armies but the ad-mech games and information is always so weak and half the rules aren't known. You need to up this knowledge gap to show them off properly.

I watched the entire video so I feel like I can give a fair analysis. Extremely disappointed in the quality of video that I just watched, I’m genuinely looking for information and how certain units interact and play together as an Admech player but I can honestly say I didn’t learn anything. It didn’t seem like the admech player had even basic understandings of the game at all, Vanguard tactics is presented as one of the best teaching and coaching channels, it’s extremely bizarre to watch a battle report here and observe both players play extremely sloppy. I would consider listing your videos as casual versus competitive just because if this was listed as a casual video, I would not have felt as disappointed watching with the intent to learn instead watching the blood angels player try to flirt with a girl off screen.

Thanks for your feedback. We should have prefaced this game by saying, this is our first time running the Admech post datalsate and unfortunately Jordan brought his tournament list. So there was a huge missed opportunity here and apologies for any waste of time caused,

@@VanguardTacticsactually any1 that have ever PLAYED Admech in the last 2 editions knows how not to give chickens as a presente in 2nd turn to an agresive army. Its not about last Dataslate, its about not knowing a shit about the army.

@@Sandokann69 I’m going to say it. I normally ignore comments like yours. Ones that are rude and disrespectful. The team try incredibly hard to play a whole host of different factions. Sometimes we make mistakes, running a KZfaq channel and playing a different army 2-3 times a week for a month isn’t easy. Let alone being on camera and smiling the whole way through. No matter what’s going on in their personal life the team always try’s their best. So you can either apologise and take some responsibility for your rudeness, or you will be blocked.

My god, I barely know admech, and I see glaring issues with this fucking ad mech list. No offense, but using a list that is not even remotely competitive in a battle report video makes the showcase essentially worthless. Ya blood angels are good, but pretty much any army would beat this ad mech list

Basically what I was saying, albeit in less polite terms. VT needs to stop playing Admech if they aren't going to make any effort to produce a competitive 10th edition list for them (which is absolutely possible now) and have it played by someone who actually knows the army. Until they sort out their lack of models, and list building, it's just giving other armies a punching bag. "Showcase." Sorry I wasn't aware Blood Angels got major changes and needed showing off? Certainly this list wasn't showing off anything positive for the Admech.
