The evil twin says "You and an opposing player know each other" so when Ethan got changed into a flower girl Jason technically should have been told that.

Only 3 good voted on Jason if all 4 evil had voted on Ethan they might have won 😩 I know Blue was going for a bluff but Jason voting himself made no sense. I'm just venting because I hate seeing evil be the deciding vote on their own loss, mostly because as a spectator I'm always team evil

Switching the twins makes a huge bit of mechanical difference. The Good player no longer gets information, and the Evil player does.

So Ben said mechanically there wouldn't be any difference in barber swapping the evil twins but that's just not correct, switching them takes a Townsfolk ability away from good. I'll also say that in the case of the jumped Fang gu swapping the two evil twin claims is the least risky swap you can make

How so Eddy? If there is a 'good' evil twin, the mechanic of "if the good player is executed, evil wins" condition still applies, no? Unless them dying removes the evil twin condition because the evil twin is now dead? That's a thinker for sure. Great question to bring up though. Thanks for this!

@@ecggamers the good player would have the Twin ability so the evil win condition stays the same but the evil player gets the townsfolk ability, Savant in this case, so that's one less ability for good.

There would be one more thing. If Twins were changed, Twin pair would be solved, as there would be Evil Savant, and they can't be a "good twin" as only good can be one. So new Good "Evil Twin" would have to get new twin that would be good. And they could just claim to be Good Evil Twin

@DragonfoxShadow that's not how twins work. Twins are always of opposite alignment, so a good evil twin would have to receive an evil player as their twin.

Especially in this game I wish East coast gamers did the video the way No Rolls Barred does so we can see all the chats. Think about it, because it would make your videos twice as long

Quick question regarding the philo night order- does the philo snake charmer go before or after the real snake charmer? Because if philo picks the demon, the demon swap happens and the old demon is now a poisoned philo, meaning that the actual snake charmer is sober and can steal the demon themselves, so the order of the two can be pretty important

Technically you are correct with the night order. In that scenario here's what happens: The Philo with the Snake Charmer ability goes first and becomes the demon. The former demon becomes the poisoned Philo. (Poisoned because of the Snake Charmer ability) The Snake Charmer is now no longer Philo drunk and chooses the former Philo/current demon, and becomes the demon. The former Philo/demon now becomes the poisoned Snake Charmer. Both the current Philo & Snake Charmer are now poisoned and have their abilities rendered useless.

Please note that lots of people disagree with what Ben said about Barber swap order this game, that Barber is a trigger that happens immediately and it's on the night order sheet where it is as a reminder to check if the Barber is dead after the demon has killed. Running Barber immediately instead of later in the night makes it more clear to the demon what happened and can prevent evil getting screwed by it (which it shouldn't really be doing as an outsider). Evil did indeed get screwed over by this way of running Barber this game.

Also Jason should have been informed that Ethan is the Flowergirl, which is part of the Twin's ability of continuously knowing each other.

Yep! This is what I love about providing content. There's some wonderful feedback and experience really is the best way to learn. As an ST I've made plenty of mistakes. That's how we grow! I really like your perspective on the when and the why as it pertains to Barber, and I've begun running it that way myself to test overall game play. Looking forward to more SnV games!

@@ecggamers just informing you that i consider that ben ruled correctly with the barber and that the twins isnt a constant information its a first night information the only time new twin info is given out is when a new twin pair has been created

Both ways to run the barber gives the demon interesting ways to combine the kill and the swap. The way the role is written makes me feel that it is much more natural to run it in the night order, as it checks whether you died previously, not like the klutz, which has a “When” that makes it clear that it is a trigger and when the trigger activates. (Although it could be argued that the barber swap happens at the demon’s place in the night order, in which case it could be highjacked by a snake charmer.)

To be fair, he solved the game. And he offered a correct interpretation of his Day 1 Savant info, even with the whole town failing to understand the double negative and browbeating him. And he won the showdown with the Evil Twin.
