I'm not a nurse, but I have taken BP. That was just this demonstration. The Diastolic is when you stop hearing it altogether.

Is the sound always this loud on stethoscope?

It is this loud but not this clear. I really struggle with movement sounds from the stethoscope. Great video tho

It depends on your stethoscope. The better u got the better you'll able to hear the sound
