BLOODBATH 100% (Extreme Demon) - Geometry Dash Juniper

Күн бұрынThis isn't a video I EVER expected to upload, but here we are. About ten months ago, in November 2019, I beat the level InsanitY - a medium demon - after spending a few weeks on it. Two months after that, I beat BuTiTi II, an insane demon; and after completing Temple of Destiny in March, I mistakenly thought I had completed my first extreme. It only took another two months for me to complete Cataclysm - my ACTUAL first extreme demon - and one more month to beat Acu as well.
Despite the success I was having in terms of completing difficult levels, I remained in denial. Saying that I had beaten extreme demons just didn't feel correct for some reason. I was firm in my belief that I'd never have list points. However, while in a call with Technical and npesta, both of them suggested that it was possible I could complete Bloodbath. I thought it was a funny idea, but I did a practice run anyways... and felt like it was worth it to put some effort in.
Now, about a month after that exchange, I can proudly say I've beaten Bloodbath. If you were to walk up to middle school me and say "you'll beat Cataclysm and Bloodbath some day", middle school me wouldn't believe you. But I did it! By some crazy miracle, I actually did it! I think that's why I reacted so strongly when I cleared the final triple spike - I was in the middle of a moment I never thought I would get to experience.
Huge thanks to everyone in The Kenos for their support, both on and off stream. It was really motivating seeing my friends get so excited about my progress, and my experience with the level would have probably been much more boring if I wasn't in call with them sometimes. And, of course, thank you to everyone who showed up to my streams... there were moments where I became upset, only to look over at chat and see it flooded with hearts as a way of cheering me up. I love you guys!

Every time I watch this video, again and again, I remember seeing the hard work you have put into beating this, on every single Bloodbath stream. This achievement you have accomplished will endlessly be monumental, as it has marked a major point of progression in your Geometry Dash journey. But also, this achievement is a sign that you stepped further beyond than what a lot of people thought you could do, as you made a massive jump from Acu to Bloodbath in the same year! I still can’t be proud enough for you and the achievement you have accomplished. Even at the time you beat Bloodlust, whenever that may be, I would still be proud of you even to that day for this very achievement. @@whitemountain4851 Same honestly, we just don’t know when that will be. Besides, I’m pretty sure Juni is more focused on making us happy with GD content (and not just GD content) than climbing the ranks at this current time. The point is, she is an amazing person in so many ways and works really hard to be that amazing person, and that makes me so proud to be one of her supporters, and even a friend in some ways. Though 2020 has not been the best year, she has made many amazing accomplishments this year.

This is so insane. If you told me Juniper was going to beat Bloodbath a couple years ago, I would've laughed. But you've proven yourself to be capable of so much. The speed at which you've improved is insane. It feels like yesterday that you were struggling on Nine Circles. That was the start of a journey that has been full of all sorts of emotion and amazement. If you've already beat bloodbath, I can only begin to imagine how good you'll get at this game in another year or so. I'm really glad to see you push aside gender stereotypes as well, showing that a girl can be amazing at this game as well. You're the role model that a lot of aspiring players need. Your dedication and determination are so inspiring, and I just want to say, thank you for never giving up. You're insane.

It didn't push aside my gender stereotypes. Yes she is a girl and she is great at the game. Yet she isn't a professional beating top 10 demons on the demon list. It's really rare to see girls competing at the highest level. Not sure if it's cause there are a lot less girls or if they lack dedication or talent but they aren't there yet. 99% of the top players are all male and at the very top it's 100% so how does she break the stereotype? I think a lot of people are capable of beating insane and extreme demons (both male and female) but most people just don't have the time or dedication for it. I have yet to beat an extreme demon, I've done a couple of hard and insane demons but I never felt for pushing myself further. I started playing GD in early 2020 and I probably could start beating some extreme demons if I really wanted to but the truth is for me I don't like spending more than a week on one level and I rather play wow classic. I've done a few practise runs of bloodbath and some other extreme demons like butiti 3. I can see myself beating those levels. Butiti 3 ball section at the end is pure cancer so I probably need more practise on that but I don't feel motivated for dedicating so much time in it. I don't consider myself great at the game, I consider myself decent. I see the same in wow classic. Guilds such as promise and apes constantly try and break world record speed clears. All players there are male as well, but I've seen females in apes as well, they usually tend to pick a support class like a priest or paladin. I've yet to find one female tank capable of raid leading. Even in semi professional guilds or casual guilds I've yet to meet one female player capable of tanking. I'm not trying to ditch Juniper her achievement, I honestly wish the gaming platform was more diverse, but as it is right now most pro gamers are all male and once in a blue moon you find a semi competitive girl being good at gaming.

@@___Robin___ I think you underestimate juniper's impact. it's not completely about her skill alone, but also her impact as an influencer. also, unlike you from what you've said, juniper is committed to this game and follows through with the things she knows she can do. the other insane thing is that she's improved insanely fast. not even a year ago, she struggled to beat nine circles. that's a lot faster than I've ever improved, and I consider myself pretty decent. I just hope that juniper helps inspire more female players to feel like there's a place for them, and that they have the ability somewhere in there to become a great player.
