The government shut down at first opportunity, with demands that he sign bills to abolish the ACA, the EPA, and the minimum wage. And quite possibly kept down right up to, and past, the point of default.

The real change that needs to be made is how our banks and economy is run and money in politics. Until these 2 issues are addressed it's just a show!! We need debt free living support and rewards, hold bankers investors and financiers accountable for bad debt and driving profits. If you are lending 100,000$ you need to have at least half liquid to cover it and you can't then roll that over as cover on another packaged loan. If you hold more liquid you get a higher reward or break!! We need real value backing up our dollar and private banks should be heavily regulated by a third party will dire consequences for corruption as well as long prison sentences for bankers and their cronies caught in corruption. Then cap income for politicians and campaign budgets need a cap as well. Everything in politics needs to be addressed and regulated. Like Hillarys speeches, 100,000$ for a speech? Give me a break! Those are pay outs for scratching the bankers and corporations backs. Anyone that doesn't see that is an idiot. Chelsea Clinton got 600,000 a year for a handful of 10 min segments on MSNBC?? Yeah more scratching!! It's bullshit and the idiots that don't get that or refuse to acknowledge it are dumb or corrupt themselves!! That's real change. Just like that! We have successful models to follow for both that we know work and we can slowly adjust them to work for modern society!!

When Labour is enforcing austerity, people vote Conservative only to receive the same amount of austerity from the Conservative Party! In Germany you have the Christian Democrats vs Social Democrats. The Social-democratic Party of Germany used to be leftist, but has turned to the right-wing like all social democrats world wide. Christian democrats in Germany are conservative right-wing and pro-capitalist. Still when the German social democrats enforce right-wing politics, the Christian democrats win elections. Because people vote on the opposition party out of anger, win-out understanding that both parties are enforcing austerity and pro-capitalist ideals! The same you see in the USA. People vote Republican out of anger and disappointment over Democrats. But do not realize how right-wing the Republican Party is. They only realize it when it is too late.
