@flamingmanure Жыл бұрын
@@youtubecensorship842 hehehe agreed, overall elden ring is a substantially better and more legendary game than bb, although bb is still one of my favorites of all time on par with ds1 and sekiro, but frankly other than its lovecraft roots and cool but not perfected trick weapons, i barely would ever go back to it. elden ring though is just on another league entirely, joining the likes of final fantasy 7, vice city, ocarina of time and resi evil 4 as one of the masterfully crafted games of all time. i legit think it has the most handcrafted highest quality level and world design in gaming history pretty much. i didnt think elden ring would top ds1 in level design, but it pretty much built on it and made it look like an indie game.

A foreign huntress sat back against the monolithic gravestone in the Tomb of Oedon. Blood had begun to trace the labyrinth of stones amongst the graveyard. The sparks off clashing blades and the smell of gunpowder had long ceased in memory but the intense burning lingered in her chest. She feebly reached out towards a moonlit corpse. A day like any other, so we are led to believe. We drink, we play, we pretend our lives are wonderful. We pretend that there is no evil. We pretend, but deep inside, we know. We know of the horrors lurking the alleys, the streets at night. We know to lock our doors, cover our windows, and never let anyone- anything- inside. Those who are either brave or foolish, they stay outside. Night has come. With lit torches and crude farming and kitchen appliances, they roam the streets. They are looking. Looking for the horrors the we pretend are not there. Looking, without realizing that they themselves are part of the horror. They are no longer human. They are something feral. Paranoid. Drunk off of what smells like sickening metal, their clothes drenched in a dry vile stench. Drenched in a dried, brownish red liquid. Blood. Their breath is of blood, their clothes in blood. They wander, full of rage and confusion, looking. Searching. Searching for the horrors. Searching for beasts. Beasts larger and stronger than any man. Beasts covered in what they covet, what they wish to fill their bellies with. Blood. Blood of those who had yet become beasts themselves. Those that try to fight them fail, drunk off of blood themselves, slowly changing into what they fear. Beasts. Beasts that come from blood. They cannot fight. They are slaughtered. They become beasts. Without even knowing, they have become what they feared. One person comes towards them. They do not see a person. They see a beast. They try to swing their crude "weapons", screeching and roaring at them, some begging the person to stay away. The person does not speak. They do not acknowledge their pleas, their screams. They simply reach behind them with both their hands, and from behind, true weapons are taken hold. In one, a gun. Loaded with specialized bullets made from a mixture of treated blood and silver. Quicksilver. The other, a strange, serrated half-circle. With a strong flick of their wrist, the serrated blade snaps into place, revealing a sharp blade. A cleaver. A Trick Weapon. This is no person. They are a Hunter. A Hunter of Beasts. Beasts, like the ones approaching them with blood-drunk eyes. With a quick leap, they swing their cleaver, taking it's first life. It's first Beast. Their blood spills, their cries heard. The Hunter jumps away, deftly avoiding the flailing attacks of another. With a well-timed shot, the man-Beast falls to their knees, stunned and hurt from the sudden wound of the bullet piercing their body. The Hunter, not missing a step, quickly stashes away their cleaver, and with blinding speed, forces their hand into the stomach of the man-Beast. It howls in agony from the sudden intrusion into its intestines, before being thrown back as the hand rips out the viscera it managed to grab hold of in that brief moment. In mere seconds, two man-Beasts have fallen. Two, out of countless Beasts that roam the alleys, the streets. The Hunter tosses away the blood-covered organs, dusts off their body to remove some of the blood now staining their clothing, and continues onward, cleaver and gun in hand. The Hunt is on tonight. And oh what a long night it will be.
