We were a little against the clock towards the end of the game. These are great comments though. I've yet to use Callous Disregard - i have this idea that i'll declare it and then roll all 2s and 1s. It almost came up in a game recently but i was able to sneak a win without using it. Got a tournament on the 18th this month with them thought so im imagining it might come up. Thanks for the comment though always looking to get better with the blooded.

I really wasnt sure how well theyd play into them, it didn't all go to plan and i REALLY need to work on deployment with these high model count teams, but im still really happy with how the blooded play across all the games ive had with them. Cheers bud

i hadsuch lofty plans when i was making the team - i tohught with enough careful planning I could build, vet guard & Blooded as one team - but also throwing in kommandos wouldve worked aswell. I caved though it was too much planning so i just went blooded :D next time

I know man, it pained me aswell! reverse heresy. I'm generally chaos through and through - word bearers or bust. I like to think that the catachan have slowly become tainted by chaos, if you think about their tac ops - ruthless disregard where they shoot into their own ranks? sounds like the seeds of chaos to me. Having now said that i'd love to do a slightly more warp tainted catachan team like a few campaigns on when their 'gifts' start showing

@@GFNGaming That's a pretty great idea. It makes some sense to me that less pure Catachan infantry could get tainted by the dark gods, particularly Khorne. Living in such a hostile environment is bound to cause some wrathful tendencies.

I Think they're my new go to team for tournament play at the moment

Haha ok so, i originally started doing commission painting as 'Grandfather Nurgles Paint Emporium' - which over time became GFN Painting - when i moved over to making videos I just kept the name and changed the painting to gaming - so technically it stands for Grandfather nurgles - but im open to better suggestions :D

Cheers bud, You decide the order they have at the begining of turn 1 but from t2 onwards everytime you activate them you can change their orders - i dont always mention it as its a fundamental of the game and the tokens change to represent it but in general only 'silent' weapons (snipers) can shoot whilst remaining in conceal, so in that instance the skull (conceal) icon moves to target (engage) so that the meltagun can fire. Hope this helps :) - you should give the game a shot its a great system

@@GFNGaming thanks for the clarification :) after skimming the rules I was under the impression it's some kind of a tactical decision where you plan orders at the start of every turn and have to strategize in advance like for example with FOCUS allocation in my beloved Warmachine. I certainly will, and actually today I am set up for a demo game :) I have a quarter of a century of experience with GW games and for some time I've been nothing but disappointed with them (compared to modern board game designs for instance) but KT certainly looks like something a bit different. I mention it right before showing the models but if you're navigating around you might miss it - its the SpaceNam set from Wargamers Atlantic - think the modeller is Reptillian overlords - great kit - they do a bunch of great kits that work as proxies for guard

@@GFNGaming I'm awaiting the release of a Catachan KT and if they don't design them all in the vein of Predator cast and Rambo, a written complaint will be sent. Sly Marbo and Iron Hand will be such a laugh to play

It might be a play style you prefer but honestly i do think Legionaries are just better in every way. You can run them with Mark of nurgle which means get a natural boost to defence with disgusting vigor and you can mutagenic flesh to reduce all normal damage which really helps - only the annointed gets a FNP so maybe they're slightly less durable in general but they get 3 circle move instead of the 2 base plus you get more interesting operatives (IMO) with all the special rules they add to the game.
