In case you didn't know, this game was made by the same guy that made Castlevania. I'm surprised you skipped THIS one considering it's the actual spiritual successor. It's Castlevania in all but the name!

Please make this a series! there is actually quite a lot of variety when it comes to weapons and shards. I can't wait to see what you come up with for combos!

Here's a tip. Most weapon types have special inputs like you did with the kicks. You either learn them by reading books like you did the kick command. Or you just do it on your own. But pretty much all of them are quarter circle forward motion(hadoken motion) with a few others more motions like back-forward, forward-forward, down-down. all done with the basic attack button of course.

I would love to see more of this game! It looks so good, and I always enjoy watching you play metroid-vania games

12:15 DUDE! Little Fighter was *one of my favorite games* back in the day! I remember how cool it felt discovering the code to unlock new characters and finding Firzen via fusion of 2 characters! Me and my cousin spent hours and hours building combos, figuring out how to juggle enemies between ourselves and finding out the most broken combinations and powers! You just gave me the most crazy nostalgia trip. Day 23 of asking Mythy to check out Radiata Stories and Rogue Galaxy

This game is brilliant. If you continue playing it, whenever you reach the Killer Barber enemies I suggest farming them for the Rhava Búral. It's a weapon with the fastest possible attack speed and allows the attack animation to continue as you move. It's really fun.

It's so nice to watch you solo commentate and learn things on this game lmao there's so much to get better at and experiment with it's gonna blow your mind edit: Clearly you found the book that tells you inputs for the kung fu shoes but you can find 'techniques' naturally if you play around with fighting game inputs and that's how weapons with less damage can still be more useful depending on the player. Really cool system

This game is crazy good. If you upgrade that fire shard you got from the cannons it becomes a crazy high damage shotgun burst of fire. I used it a lot.

you can immediately cancel an attack as soon it hits with backflip. Resetting with another attack to give two fast hits. This is great technique for slower weapons.

Have you played any metroidvania myth? Symphony if the night spawned them all and its one of my favorite games ever.

This is one of my favourite games! And my first metroidvania!

I'm hyped for you to finally play this. Really liked the game. Was a bit sad the game didn't stay 2D as they wanted at the beginning, but I think that's alright. I really hope for a full fledged second game without the problems of the first one aka the rough start of the launch and all. Personally thought the animations were pretty rough here and there, but You know there is a lot of love and care in the game generally.

If you play with the Gun, you have infinite bullets but they are weak. You get special bullets that are more damage and have special properties but are limited

For a Castlevania fan like me now we are talking, I hope that you like the game so we can see a Koji Igarashi series with the other games (mostly Castlevania games). Castlevania symphony of the night and Aria of sorrows are really good. And maybe one of this days you may play Castlevania Lord of Shadows (not a Igarashi game but I know you will like it). And Mythy for the love of everything that is holy do not sell the shards just yet (is a mess to buy them back find the enemy's that drop then again takes a lot of time), as Dominique explained they get stronger as you get more and some can be combine to create more, then you will need to upgrade each one as well (so the grind is real mate).

I don't know about this game. I have played it,and found it kinda of just plain beside the graphics, and the music. I guess I wanted it to be closer to the likes of symphony of the night, and it's not really fair because the bar is set so high with that masterpiece.
