@@thevolunteerfisherman8575 what a lot of people forget is that KK never asked to be back lmao. Everyone makes the guys of JP to be the assholes but KK literally quit the band on his own volition and never asked to be back. The only reason he started complaining was when Glenn couldn't play live anymore and they brought Richie Faulkner in, KK wanted JP to call him but all they did was respect the fact that he wanted out and simply got someone new. I love both bands and I love KK but there is a lot of misinformation surrounding his hard feelings towards JP

@@rooster1610 I know all about the KK story. I've been a fan since the late 70s and have stayed up with what everyone was doing all along. I even thought the Robs venture with Fight was great stuff. Some killer stuff from those guys! I was just simply pointing out to the previous commenter that made it a point to point out that KK quit, that Rob had also quit. He wasn't asked to leave JP, he quit over contract disputes because the producers and label didn't want him venturing out to work with other musicians. The difference is, KK left to pursue a business venture that was not in the music industry. Rob left to pursue more musical interests. I'm not as big of a fan of the new line up. To me, it is just not JP anymore. All the guys are amazingly talented and they are putting out great music still. But it just is not Priest!
@spchetan11
@spchetan11 2 ай бұрын
@@thevolunteerfisherman8575 KK left because of a very long list of complains, disputes and disagreements with Tipton and he wasn't enjoying it in the band anymore. Basically left in bad terms saying that he's "retiring". Guy got pissed that JP didn't call him to replace Tipton. I mean what was the band supposed to do? Have Richie learn all of Tiptons parts to the entire JP catalogue? Or simply get a guy/their producer who can play Tiptons parts? It's a no brainer. And KK starts his own Priest because of being so butthurt due to it is just childish after leaving the band to "retire". And like the other commenter said, he never asked JP to rejoin the band. He got butthurt that JP didn't ask him to rejoin when Tipton dropped out of playing live sets.
