Yes and Dark Edge of Insanity is also very nice since its proc can proc on hamstrings and also all yellow hits, besides giving you the 5% crit from the axe spec. The only problem with Sword spec is that endgame Swords are kind of average compared to MoM and Dark Edge. Corrupted Ashbringer and Claymore of unholy Mighty are second grade compared previously said. But Up to BWL or R14, I absolutely agree with you that Sword spec is the best.

​​​​@@daviddesgagneBRE 2 stacks hits harder than Deoi/CA and 3 stacks hits harder than MoM. If CA didn't give you -25 stam it'd def be bis sword though. BRE needs a pocket healer + WF to get the most out of it though otherwise it's dogwater. But once you get stacks rolling with WF + hamstring spam it does insane damage.

@@daviddesgagne Tested it back to back in the day and Axe won every single time (R14 sword vs R14 Axe), literally respecced 50g x 2 during the testing to be sure (which was a huge amount in Vanilla). The damage and rage generation is way more consistent. Allowed you to use more Stamina gear and AP gear while keeping your crit above the 1/3 break point. Sword could give you those WTF crits but rest of the time, Axe would consistently be better, mainly due to the vastly superior rage generation and up time of deep wounds . That's why Noktyn always used axe as well (first no.1 gladiator in TBC) in Vanilla. Plus the 1 hander R14 Axe + Shield was top tier and super overlooked in pvp. I found that sword was only really better with Windfury. TBC different story, Axe was ass in TBC.

@@engared yes thank you for your sharing about your sword vs axe testing. I was talking especially about top tier warrior arms weapons, which R14 ones are not. I was talking about MoM vs Dark Edge vs Corrupted Ashbringer. But your point on R14 is absolutely right!

@@daviddesgagne Eh, I had a Dark Edge and the R14 in actual pvp situations was just as good. Used weapon chain on my R14 and Crusader on the Dark Edge and swapped it out when it was necessary. Had little to no drop in effectiveness. R14 weapon was that good. MoM is another league though. Easily the best. Idiots who number crunched BRE as the best pvp weapon didn't know shit.
