@Terrell X3 Yes, their target audience might be a bit older than me but what if they just made the show all ages? Take the Scooby Doo live action films for example, it was great and didn’t took away fun that the original cartoons have. Why don’t they do the same with Winx? Winx if literally part of my childhood and Netflix didn’t do any justice like wheres the bright colors, the transformation sequences, WHERES TECHNA?? 😭And don’t even get me started on the styling. Bloom is supposed to be 16 years old why does she dress like shes 35?? Edit: sorry if there grammatical errors im still working on my english.

i mean, cartoon bloom basically is the jean grey of her universe. she wields the dragon flame, which is basically the phoenix force of the winx universe

@@user-hx1hy7yj2i you can explore serious themes and tell a mature story without going all uber-edgy visually. if anything, telling a dark story with a bright color palette can make for a much more interesting work that doesn't err into the side of gratuitously depressing. also, "older people" does NOT refer to teenagers LMFAO

Look we all know the first season of any adaptation that Netflix produces looks NOTHING like the actual series but the next season start feeling like it

It's been many many years since I've seen the animated series but one look at that scene and I instantly recognized Bloom's transformation poses. I wasn't surprised her clothes didn't change. But I swear I expected her to at least get her tiara and at least stay in the air and blast the monsters like a real fairy.

@Mandet Jiot No they are not going to have a costume change they decided to drop that idea because it was not realistic for them and they wanted the show to be realistic but they are going to have their wings just not the costumes. Bloom was not transformed either this was more like awakening of her powers.

LOL! For me Bloom will always be the guardian of the Dragon Flame - the second most powerful force in the Magic dimension (according to that elf professor at Alfea). She comes from a long line of powerful nymphs... What I saw in this video was kind of insulting. Real Bloom would wipe the floor with those monsters in a few seconds. So yeah, she can get stronger. Much much stronger.

That's what I think should happen too. When she gets her wings she didn't fully "transform" considering she wasn't able to fly and her wings started to fizzle out as soon as they appeared.

Props to the director but sometimes a serious tone doesn’t make a show good. Case in point Riverdale, but I don’t mind the show at all, i think the plot could’ve been a little better and the dialogue too but hopefully in season 2 it gets better

I think it's good even if you don't separate it. I think the main problems was to many people had expectations on what they wanted to see but it didn't even get near that because they wanted a more childish show

They evolved to focus more on fighting and I guess forgot to teach transformation

I figured it was from diluted bloodlines. They insinuated a few times that mixed blood fairies are generally weaker than pure bloods. I guess after time the lack of being able to use the information made the information disappear.

@@jdg462 yeh but would u rather be stronger in a fight or actually have the ability to fight. Strength doesn’t win every time in a fight. A lot of the time it’s the people who actually KNOW how to fight that wins

Top tier fairy without transformation barely being able to take one burned, but Bloom easily taking on multiple burned ones with transformation. It's like when the difference in strength is immense, experience, intelligence, and strategy means nothing.

They may have wanted to become pure witches by sacrificing a pure witch baby. Than becoming the most powerful by sacrificing Bloom taking the dragon flame from her.

this is about the powers displayed on the show not hypothetical, and mentioned potential. Bloom had simply more scenes to showcase her powers and strengths like it's not that deep. they'll probably do a second version next season
