Uber is a sweat shop. Stands on slaves labor. Drivers give their cars, gas, insurance, and maintenance and get less than minimum wages and now they are denied employees status ...?!!! I work for Black Uber, a drunk passenger almost killed me, I had 5 stitches, the guy was arrested, videos recorded it. Uber does not insure the drivers, yet it insure the rider. I was treated by Medicare and medical the Federal and State government paid from our taxes. At the time Neither Uber nor Amazon pay taxes, still they get tax cuts?!!! no Lawyer wants to take my case simply because the law does not cover the drivers, as well. Before Uber taxi and limo drivers had at least Worker Comp. Mr CEO, it is a Lie that Uber drivers do not want to be employed, it is a lie that Uber made it to deceive the public. After all who gave Uber the right to speak in behalf of the drivers?!! Mr CEO, u claim u will pay Drivers $21 while driving, when u calculate how many hours the drivers are on the road waiting for calls your $21 hour will be even less than they make now, Less Less than the minimum wages. Mr CEO, do u know how many fakes Black accounts in your Uber black?!! Uber stands on slave labor without it it, it won’t exist, is that what what CEO is trying to tell us. Sir if Uber cannot employ let it quit, there are many others who can employ without stealing from the Fed or the state treasury and employ the drivers. for Uber, drivers are Slaves their lives are worthless, and the public treasury is for them to steal ...

$21 excluding expenses? Because drivers invested on average $20k for a car plus insurance and gas . Which is an hourly expenses of $8 to $10 . If $20 including expenses dan it end up to $10 to $11 an hour which is below minimum wage without any benefit health, pension, worker comp insurance etc.

What we want is $10.00 minimum per ride and $1.50 per mile after the first 2 miles .25 cent per min stop dancing around the issue with all your talk about benefits and minimum wage!!!!! this is not a per hour businesses its a per ride business.
