In this video, we will make a glass flower with buds.
1. [Mospline]
Make the petal movement with the mosplin and group the mosplin with the cloner to complete the flower bud movement.
In addition, the Random Effector is used to randomly disturb the movement of the flowers, creating a more natural movement of the flowers.
2. [Splinewrap]
Create a petal shape with Plane and use Spline Wrap to paint the petal shape onto the Mospline (flower movement).
Create flower surgery and flower stems with capsules and cylinders to create a perfect flower shape.
3. [Bend]
Bend allows straight flower stems to naturally bend. In the Timeline, the Bind Object's Strength and Angle values ​​are given differently at each time via Keyframes, and the flowers move left and right according to the passage of time, creating an animation as if they are sucking the buds.
4. [Motion Camera]
The Motion camera's Footsteps, Head Rotation, Camera Rotation, and Camera Position values ​​make the movement of the camera slightly sway as if it were taken by a person, further enriching the image.
5. [Octane] - Day Light
Enable Octane and apply Texture to the flowers.
Create an overall tint for your screen with Octane Daylight to capture the overall tone & manner of your video.
6. [Octane] - Materials
Give different textures to the petals, flowers, and stems through the Octane Material.
- Petals: Node Editor (Gradient, Triplanar, Floor texture) creates a transparent glass feeling with color
- Flower Surgery : Create a luminous body with Node Editor (Blackbody emissic)
- Flower stem: Specular material, Transmission, Reflection, Roughness to create a transparent glass feeling with color
- Water droplets in the background : Specular material, Reflection, Dispersion, index create transparent water
7. [Octane] - Octane Light
Apply Color to Octane Light's Texture to create colored lighting.
8. [Render Viewer]
Render the finished image to finish the image.
In this video, I used Mospline and Spline Wrap to create a flower with blooming buds, and I used Bend to complete the animation of flower petals following the sun.
