GNN news update- the Tans triumph! The Tangerian forces of Commander Talon launched a second attack on the Hu-Queng River Bridge. However, the Tans were ready for them, and had already called an aerial attack, destroying the bridge itself. The Tangerians tried to go across the river the "old-fashioned way", but the Tans, through grit, determination and sacrifice, repelled them. It seems that with all the losses his armies have received in the last few battles, Sultan Levantine's plan to invade southern Viettan is about to be scrapped. In the meantime, among the many great heroes of the Tan border defense force are artillerymen Private Akira Kikuchi and Corporal Akinari Hohki of the 12th Artillery Platoon, who held off the Tangerians' final desperate attack with their lone 150mm field howitzer. They are scheduled for a ceremony of decoration in Taigon in three days' time. The Tans, it seems, have once again shown the Tangerians their worth, and that they will not stop until all of Viettan is unified and the Tangerians are beaten once and for all. Able and Dog Companies of the 32nd Airborne "Ragin' Rattlers" have engaged solitary Tangerian and Red units in hit-and-runs on the western outskirts of the city of Tanoi. A number of enemy assets have also been targeted and destroyed, including a supply depot, a tank refueling and maintenance base, and a communications array. A major contributor in these attacks is reported to be Sergeant Julian Spades of Dog Company, 2nd Squad. Sergeant Julian, nicknamed "Ace" due to his last name being similar to that of a certain playing card, has acquired a reputation as an aggressive leader and a relentless fighter with an unending stream of charisma and audacity, never giving up in even the worst situations. It is thanks to his fierce determination and will to win that many battles that seemed like sure victories for the Tangerians have turned out differently. Still no word on the location of 32nd Airborne's Charlie Company.

Make the river deeper and have a huge tan force secure their defences left flank and right flank have four companies each with 150 men and they attack with 4 tanks and 4 tangirian light vehicles meaning 8 vehicles on each flank. Commander tanning reporting.

Siege of Tanoi Chapter 8 The tans made the smart decision to blow up the bridge that connected Tangeria and Viettan which made the oranges attack the flanks of the river . On the tan right the oranges made past the river and made to a ridge but were slaughtered in it, after that the tans ,full of confidence went on the offensive but befor they made to the river the orange rocket artillery blowed them up. On the tan left the orange rocket artillery bombarded the tan defences and oranges cleared out the defences but did not manage to get up the ridge . Worth mentioning a orange light tank destroyed a tan rocket artillery at the cost of its life.

The Tans won, as they still held their side of the river and inflicted so many casualties that, as you saw, inspired enough fear to make the tangirian infantry retreat.

Just one thing: I know people hate when you control things, but it’s also pretty frustrating to see tanks and btrs just getting stuck and have no impact on battle whatsoever. It would be great if you could give them a nudge when they get stuck. Btw, I think it’s a minor victory for Tangerians. They should a have small foothold on the left side of the bridge

You could break the units line easily by advancing an armor collum in front of a wave of artillery. With a wave of troops bringing up the rear once the hard targets get demolished.

A good battle and I think that the greens should join with the blues to capture the neutral zone and the reds defending against the tan alliance should have to leave to support the neutral zone army

I think the Tans should create an in depth trench system with dug in artillery positions, more concrete bunkers with inter-connecting fields of fire. As well a secondary line of tanks outside of artillery and rocket range. The Tans should just focus on holding their side of the river.

Idea: the tans won the battle despite a brave orange truck coming in almost killing captain Lexingtan. The oranges order an execution of all members who retreated for a period of time .the tangierian army becomes more disciplined but learns it is never allowed to retreat unless it is orders by the sultan. Both sides now it’s useless to attack the other side from the river due to heavey losses.
