That base model LS2 C6 with a simple ECS Novi 1500 kit running with those higher built ZR1 & Z06s is what impressed me most. Cool to see a budget LS2 car with a budget friendly blower be competitive with some nasty built Z06s & ZR1s.

I have the same ECS Novi 1500 on my C7 Stingray and has really suprised me specially when i take out cars that im not supposed to beat.

@@jeremiahjohnson8634 For sure. Where can we follow your build at??? I have a dry sumped LS3 Grand Sport build... Novi 1500SL GPI SS3 cam and MAST 11 degree Mutant heads. Hoping to take out some 2560 LT & LS Vette builds. Or ported blower LS9 ZR1 builds. Only paid $1900 for my ECS Novi kit off a fresh rebuild.

For sure. I'm not saying hellcats aren't heavy, because they are. They won't beat or make any lap records on the track, aren't really great from a dig....but they're a great 50 or 60 roll race car when properly built, tuned and it comes down to the driver too....whether it's an auto or manual. People might say, "an auto is an auto". Auto drivers put it into manual mode and paddle shift....so it's that last 10% of the outcome that comes down to the driver in that "cherry on top" aspect.

No I drove the Mf like it was an auto I was just out gunned with power . A bolt on Zr1 with ported blower runs out of rpms around 6500 peak power so I’d need heads or a cam to help with more Top end .

C7z with stage 3 setup on roll racing is not the best idea. I have the z07 and I went ahead and did the stage 1 setup, and it made a HUGE difference past 130 mph.

@@albertmendoza7689 yeah but it usually doesn’t happen at 130 mph after multiple gears usually it’s a problem in the first gear you started in or the switch to the next gear. But I suppose its completely possible.

Ok hold up. How does a 427 kong only make 930... Lol. Fire your builder and tuner.. lol.. What a joke. I made that on stock motor and ported stock blower.. lol a427 kong shoukd be atleast 1150 wheel. I know of 3 zr1's built by lmp making over 1200 on a 427 kong set up. I made 1078 on stock shortblock and a kong. Picked up 160+ from just switching to a kong 2.65 on smaller pulley
