I put an LS1, out of a Camaro, in my '31 Ford Tudor Sedan. It has a half hood with the valve covers showing out from under it, painted to match the car. Without taking close inspections or for those that don't know any better, often people believe I have a Ford flathead V8 in it, because the valve covers are so much shorter & flatter than a typical SBC. It typically doesn't register right away even with the people that can identify an LS1 that's what they are looking at. I think mainly because the rest of the car is restomod.
