Hi, I have a unique situation with my hair and was hoping you can help. I watched your video on selecting the right shampoo. I went through texture and density changes because of illness. Now, my newer hair is coming in softer (closer to original texture) but the rest of my hair is stringy, dry, and damaged. My hair is naturally fine so I don’t know which shampoo is best for this combination of textures. I wash my hair every 3 days or longer and have been air drying due to the damage. Which shampoo and conditioner would you recommend?

I now go 4 or 5 days - Even with working out and heavy yoga, it’s been life-changing. The double wash is key. I was told the double wash was just marketing, which is total BS. I have completely changed my routine because of Chris and my hair looks amazing. Was an early olaplex 3 convert, but now I’ve learned about leave in conditioner and oil. I used heat protection before - but now I use the redkin he recommended and its an unbelievable difference. I get compliments on my hair every day when I do the least amount of effort just because I now have a solid routine. He is right it’s so much time saved, and so much money

I have coarse hair that loves to curl, so would the morrocan oil products be good for my hair ? I NEVER use any heat on it, and I finger comb my hair. That way I can stop if I feel a tangle and can carefully untangle it. I have found I only need to wash it once a week, but I spent my life believing in daily showering and hair washing.

@@colinneanderson7077 Fine hair means your individual hair strands are thin. Thin hair means you have a low density of hair on your head, or less hair in total on your head. I find twisting my hair and then putting it in a bun with a clip helps me sleep on my hair and when I take the bun out in the morning I’m left with big curls.

Wow! All of your videos are always so informative and lovely to watch. I learn so much from this channel and the breakdowns are not daunting at all. I have struggled finding products that work for me and do have a graveyard as a result.😅 I started to simplify my routine and stumbled across your videos. I love the trinity method. My hair feels so lightweight and not producty! I just started using Redken and love it. I never really struggled with proper shampooing, but even then my scalp never felt clean just itchy. Obviously factors such as hard water can contribute to this. Something I noticed with Redken was the quality, my shampoo didn't start falling off of my hands like water. It was easier to distribute onto the scalp. I do love sharing your videos with people to help them on their hair journey. Thank you for these videos and sharing your knowledge with us. I also think you've got a lovely voice that is friendly and so informative. Thank you again 💓 🙂

Hey there Ms. Karen! I’m also a hairdresser, I know of a great hard water shampoo by Malibu that you can use every time you wash to keep the hard water from crystallizing in your strands. Have you noticed your hair can feel damaged even though you’ve been taking a lot of care of it? It may not be your fault! It may be the hard water. If you use this shampoo it will make your hair feel like hair again and make it hold moisture better.

My hair is so dry I can go over a week without washing it and it is naturally wavy so curling it actually straightens it a bit, and then it hold the curls fairly well. I really appreciate the curling iron tips! I have to touch that up by my face because I have a couple of stubborn cowlicks in my bang area, and that hair can get kind of over done and frizzy. Maybe the dry shampoo could help? I’ve never tried it before.

@@luannconsentino1188 I've discovered a hair oil that works wonderfully to keep frizz at bay. It's not cheap, but worth it. Wella SP System Professional Luxe Oil Reconstructing Elixir 100ml. I also use their shampoo + hair mask from the same line. There's something else I've been doing prior washing my hair that helps. It's DIY linseed gel. It does help with frizz and makes your hair look thicker. Here is a link for the video on how to make it. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nM-Yg9BhudickWw.html&pp=ygUYbGluc2VlZCBnZWwgZm9yIGhhaXIgZGl5

Hi Amanda! I had the same problem, day 2 and following were ALWAYS a bad hair day. This completely changed when I started wearing a satin bonnet at night. Absolute game changer. Avoid the satin pillowcase, your hair is going to stick to your face (in my case, oily face) and the style will be spoiled just by the weight of your head. Go for the bonnet, make sure it can contain all of your hair.

Chris love your videos so i am on a healthy hair journey. My issue (i have short fine hair) is waking up to bed head hair. The only reason i wash my hair every 2 days is to style it,not because it is dirty. On the morning after i wash it, i wet it and then will use a blow dryer brush or round brush. After watching your videos i realize i should not be using any heat on it but then i have no idea of how to get it to look good. Because it is short and layered it is def bed head hair. What do you recommend?? ps...i will be buying all of the products you suggest from you, i am looking forward to that.

I am almost to the point that I can wash once a week. I have found that if I don't touch my hair and scalp too much with my fingers, that it is days before I actually feel oiliness. I believe this regiment, along with mostly air drying, has made my hair even more healthy than it already was, and my hair grows even faster. I like the way you explain everything without being a drama queen.

This guy is great. I have learned a lot from him. I haven’t used heat on my hair in 20 years. I use heatless curling techniques. I use alcohol free oils on my ends and sometimes my scalp . Wash my hair every 1.5-2 weeks. I did not use leave in hair conditioner most of the time until I watched one of his videos. I sleep with a silk or satin pillow case and with a silk hair cap. I cut my hair once a year…about an inch. I exercise and take collagen, keratin, msm and biotin. My hair is to my waist. I plan on growing it to the middle of my thighs or knees.

You’ve probably given me weeks of my life back. For years I was using highly diluted shampoo with no lather, not rubbing it into the scalp, and then brushing thoroughly from roots to ends every night and morning with a boar bristle brush “to redistribute the oil” away from my scalp. I was using loads of dry shampoo at night to try to treat oily roots, but still washing my hair every other day because it always looked dirty. This was all based on advice I’ve heard for years. Since I’ve started your shampoo and conditioner regimen, my hair stays clean for 4 days and the ends are no longer like straw. Lightly brushing with a wet brush on non-wash days, and otherwise leaving my hair alone, makes so much more sense in retrospect. I’m also now using Olaplex 7 only on the very ends, and actually I barely need it between washes. ❤

This man is hero. My experience: I gave up on the curly hair routine because it’s simply not working and it’s insane to use that much products, tools and time for hair to look bellow average. I would’ve loved to get my curls to look premium for at least 2dats. Applying these tips; My scalp is healthy. I don’t loose as much hair as I use to be. I would probably say that I loose very little hair. I wash my hair ounce a week no dry shampoo. I incorporated Olaplex 3 and 7 to my routine with a clarifying shampoo. Im not ready to get my hands on some Moroccan oil or redken products just because Im already stocked up on other professional products Im still working on finishing up. But I blow dry my hair it lasts for an entire week. It not the best blow dry job because I have thick hair and it’s not easy to manoeuvre the round brush around it. Im looking forward to getting the dyson airwrap to use the round brush and the barrels for easier work. The revlon round brush type don’t really work for me 1 gets to hot and causes breakage by pulling on hair when it gets stuck in the top part 2 it cumulates the excess product over time and it start looking crusty.
