Dear Dravid sir, hats off to you and big salute. How can a human being so selfless and down to earth. We indians still follow glam slam world of icons like Kohli, Pandya. I wonder why people do not regard as much as Tendulkar. You never got deserved respect and that will always hurt me whenever i think of you.

Dravid is one of the greatest of all time. People who compare him with kolhi etc are fools and know nothing about cricket. Cricketing world knows Dravid is greatest.

I now think why we fall prey to these stupid discussions on players and not think straightforwardly as Dravid. It is because we hear people like Rajdeep more. If only we could hear Dravid more then our collective intelligence would shoot up! But then again Dravid is who he is because he spoke less and worked much more. I need to stop listening to news and watch great people talk whenever they speak. Just came here for Dravid!

What a wonderful interaction between legends! I just wished that it went on for a longer period and could hear Dravid share his thoughts. True legend!!! You hate or like Rajdeep but if not for him this program wouldn't have happened. And it takes courage to ask difficult question. Just that if he could ask the same way to everyone he would have had more likers!

It's so amazing to see Rahul Dravid share his thoughts. He is world class batsman but we can learn so much about how to conduct oneself as well. Rahul roasting session was amazing. 😊. I felt having called on stage Mr. Chandrasekhar was insulted by not conversing with him. Love u Dravid and proud that Karnataka cricket produced so many quality players for the country.

Great to see all Karnataka greats on the same stage. Missed GRV, Kumble and Srinath. However, I remember that Karnataka Govt back then had allotted free sites to the 2 players who were part of the 83 world cup team - Kirmani and Roger Binny but Kirmani did not mention that.

Here the important fact is yes today players have become bigger than any others. They can decide whoc shuld coach them. Team was performing well but still that arrogant captain asked the management to sack him why??? Don't know the inner story but that was really unfortunate. God knows who follow such aggressive and arrogant cricketers and idealize them. I am really not sure ont he aggression like Dravid sir mentioned.

Aggressiveness, in its purest form, emerges from the uncontrollable urge to control, channelize and influence the course of matches in one's favour. It imbues, and is not restricted to, inter alia, sledging, epithet- calling and even physical confrontations, in order to demean and disrupt a game. While the kind of adversef conduct attracts punishment, including fines, debarrment susoensions and so on

With all due respect to these great minds, I'd differ with their notion of today's cricketers losing their plot bcoz of the over emphasized aggression. Heck, I won't mind them bullying the living lights outta their opponents, provided they keep winning on Indian & away turfs.
@kavankachoria16996 жыл бұрын
away turf?? when was the last time we won the test series out of subcontinent? (plz don't mention westindies).
@abhisheksharma66176 жыл бұрын
Kavan Kachoria brother, I said 'provided they keep winning'. If January next year they beat the guts out the proteas, I won't mind how they'd win it, with aggression and heckle or without it.
@siddharthanvarier3342 Жыл бұрын
In football, all that are needed is 22 pairs of legs and a football. Yet this game has not reached the heady success, which cricket has reached and sustained over the post-colonial era. Aggression in professional games emanates fron the OBSESSION with winning matches all the time, every time and driving oneself to perform at the ZENITH, which is definitely more imaginary than definitive.
