Happy belated Birthday bud!! Some fantastic pickups here... I want to check out Witch in the Window and that I Know How Many Runs You Scored Last Summer! It sounds like a lot of fun. This is the first time I've heard anything bad about The Furies... interesting. I still need to check that one out.

Thanks Frank! They’re both definitely worth owning, and were pretty inexpensive to buy. The Furies is worth checking out if you love gore but I can’t recommend it for anything else unfortunately lol. Thanks for watching 😊

Cool keyring! I saw Child's Play 2 for the first time a couple of days ago. I loved it!! Brilliant. And I loved the 2019 version. Many peeps hate that one. Nice prints! I love The Witch. I love Firefly and Serenity. The Firefly comics are good. I love Hairspray. Don't watch Pink Flamingos lol!! I love Locke and Double Indemnity. Wow, that movie came with some nice pics. I love Baron Muchhausen! Great vid, guys! I'm gonna watch more later :))

Thanks a lot man :) it's a great follow up to a classic. I thought the 2019 reboot was pretty decent, although Don Mancini's films will always be superior in my mind (Maybe not Seed of Chucky though lol). We've heard nothing but good things about Firefly and Serenity, they must be worth checking out. I think we need to watch Pink Flamingos to see what the fuss is about lol. Thanks for watching :)

Awesome Haul! Those IT Balloons are Great. I am Curious about the Xtro Sequels because I Enjoyed the first one. Magic looks interesting especially with a Young Hopkins. I agree Furies was kind of a let down. I did enjoy the Kilers in it though. Dead Snow 1 & 2 are fun Zombie Movies. I need to watch Charlie's Farm. I have the Dawn of the Dead Boxset Pre Ordered has well. I cant wait! If you liked Deliverance I highly recommend Rituals with Hal Holbrook. Great Video and Take Care!

thanks so much! I found the IT balloons on a website called Beserk, they have heaps of movie memorabilia. Yeah the killers were cool in the Furies but I just wanted to know who they were, like were they also held against their will or were they killing for fun? We are glad you also got your hands on the second sight DotD boxset, it's such a sick edition. Thanks for recommending Rituals, I've been a fan of Hal Holbrook ever since I saw Creepshow, so will be adding it to our list of movies to track down. Thanks for watching :)

Great video as always 👍 Hairspray is TOP DRAWER!! John Waters movies can be really wild but maybe Hairspray is his most accessible, if you like that then I recommend Polyester which has just got an amazing Criterion edition 🤩 The cook... is the most amazing film!!! The MUSIC 🤯😍😍😍 WOW 👍👍the movie haul sign is a wicked idea 🤔🤩🤩 with Bruiser the horror punk band The Misfits, appeared in it...and George A Romero directed a video to their song "Scream" really interesting video to watch 👍 plus loving the posters 🤩🤩👍👍👍

And I think it’ll be a good way to ease ourselves into John Waters’ filmography, we didn’t want to start off with Pink Flamingos 😅 Will look up Polyester, we recently picked up Female Troubles, Multiple Maniacs and Serial Mom so we need to get more of his films, thanks for the rec! The Cook was the best nihilistic film I have ever seen I think! Thanks for validating my light box idea haha wasn’t too sure about it. I love when bands make a cameo in movies, like White Zombie in Airheads, so much fun. Will check out the video clip as well. The posters were Matt’s idea and I think they really add something to the background. Thanks for watching 😊

@@amateurfilmies8844 if anyone asked me where to start with his movies it would be Hairspray.... Pink Flamingos WOW!!! 🤯😳🤣 I love the movie, great music, but woah the content haha, I rate all his movies highly 🤩 was the version of The cook good quality on blu ray? I've heard bad reports on the picture quality sadly, ive got to own that movie!!!! The light box is a great touch, can you put literally any phrase (within reason) on it? Yep the posters work and you have a great channel and your knowledge in movies is amazing, plus you seem to both be willing to watch any movie.....im with Matt on Twilight 🤯😆😆😆👌👌👌👌

That's an awesome haul guys, the dawn of the dead edition is epic. Feast is a great movie guys, it's utter nonsense in all the right ways plus the practical effects are top notch check out the sequels they are bat s**t crazy aswell, take care guys and have a lovely day

Nice Shirt! Child's Play 2 is my favorite as well. Dead Snow is so much fun. I've seen it but still need to get the sequel. Southbound sounds interesting.Bruiser is great, but love that Zombi edition you found. I have the Second SIght pre-ordered but would have grabbed that as well. Moon is a very underrated movie. Great haul!

My recommendation is watch Ghostland first, its fantastic. Dont look any further into it ie trailers etc. Go in blind. One of the best movies I've seen in the last year

Great movie selection! As usual loads of films that I need to check out from your list of films. Have you guys seen the film 'Howl'? Decent British Werewolf movie. Great video as always.

Thank you! Yes we watched Howl after finding a mediabook for it, such a fun werewolf movie. Loved the look of the werewolves, they were so creepy but the ending was a little disappointing given the quality of the rest of the film. We appreciate you watching!

What we do in the shadows is fantastic, not watched the tv series yet though, The Dead snow movies are brilliant would love a third movie, i have seen the first story from Southbound and it was really good, it was on tv late so couldnt watch all of it, i still only have Dawn of the dead on DVD only, can't afford the new release but will wait for Second sight to release a regular release, love that Howling media book, i also only have the first Hammer boxset from Indicator, again can't afford the others lol, thanks for the video.

Yeah we still need to get into the TV series, heard it's hilarious. Yes I'd love a third Dead Snow movie, I wonder what that would even look like lol. I'm sure that Second Sight will do a standard release of DOTD given the popularity of the boxset. Indicator's releases are always mint, love every edition we have from them. Happy birthday mate looks like you done well with your presents. Witch in the window is a great little horror and found a little creepy. I love blue ruin it’s such a good film and a interesting director that I look forward to his future films. The furies is average but could have done so much more with it but like you say has some decent kills. I love what we do in the shadows film. Darkman is great but the sequels are not good. 31 is a disappointment. Dead snow films are fun . I love one cut of the dead it’s so well done. Southbound is okish. Ghost land ok but not as good as his previous films. Great haul as always and good to see both of you well.

Thanks so much mate! Definitely got spoiled haha :) I definitely look forward to seeing what Jeremy Saulnier does next, he builds tension and anxiety very well. Sucks to hear the Darkman sequels aren't the best but I'll still check them out sometime in the future. We still haven't checked out 31 yet but also not surprised to hear that it was disappointing, that seems to be the consensus online lol. Cheers for watching mate, hope you're well too :)

Great video guys, perhaps Matthew you can watch Near Dark while Sarah watches Twilight and you can compare notes ;) I wanted to check if you had shopped for blu rays from WowHD before? They seem to have an Oz site and NZ. The prices seemed quite reasonable overall and they offer free shipping. I picked up the retro VHS casing version of The New Kids with James Spader for $16, just waiting for it to arrive. Looking forward to more vids from you, bring it on!

@@amateurfilmies8844 It's a first purchase. The idea of free shipping was too good to pass up. I haven't seen the movie but I was sold when I saw a clip of James Spader being creepy. I meant to ask you two if you had seen the Canadian version of Deliverance called "Rituals" It's worth a watch, not as good but a nice enough entry into Canuxploitation films. There are some brutal moments but it lacked what Boorman was able to do with Deliverance.

Abel Ferrara is a straight-up lunatic, but he often goes deep with central themes in his films. I recommend The Addiction, which looks like a student film while being one of the most surreal takes on modern vampirism. White Zombie is a great release from VCI, who have done a lot in brining 'Pre-Code Hollywood' to HD. I've always been curious about their release of Dark Star. What's the quality like? I've always liked Rob Zombies' movies, who I think horror fans are way too harsh towards. I liken many of his films to amusement park rides, House of 1000 Corpses and 31 especially. I've seen Wolfen twice and I think it's very unconventional, which I think you need to realize before going in, to avoid disappointment. It's a shame One Hour is OOP here, but I think it's going to be difficult for any film produced Fox to get back into circulation again going forward. Epic update! :)

Just looked up The Addiction, looks very gritty, will have to pick it up during the next Arrow sale, thanks for the rec! Glad it's a good transfer because we're not too familiar with VCI. We haven't got around to watching Dark Star yet, hopefully it's a quality transfer. That's fair enough about Rob Zombie, his movies are not as accessible but I love the cultural impact they have on the horror community. House of 1000 Corpses is definitely my favourite of his. Thank you for the warning on Wolfen, we will be mindful of that. I didn't even consider that the Fox produced films might be affected, is that because of Disney purchasing them? @@amateurfilmies8844 I doubt the big film franchises produced by Fox will be affected as they're still very lucrative, but stand-alone titles will be hard to come to buy in physical form. I know for a fact that Disney's purchase of Fox was a major factor in Twilight Time Movies going out of business. They were a fantastic label, who never got enough credit.

Amazing haul guys. I love the balloons. Never seen the Xtro sequels. I've wanted to see Magic and Body Snatchers for years. I didn't care for Bad Lieutenant either. Dark Star is indeed Carpenter's first film, he made it a couple of years before Assault on Precinct 13. 31 was awful - very boring and plodding film, it also made no sense. The Dead Snow movies are great fun. Feast is pretty good. Robin Williams was amazing in One Hour Photo. I agree with you about Shock Waves - it was way too slow for me. Love the Dawn of the Dead release! I've just picked up Incident in a Ghostland and am looking forward to checking it out. Deliverance, Get Out, Devil and The Howling are all excellent films. Where did you get that copy of The Resurrected from? I've always wanted to see that and it is a wonderful edition.

I’m really not a fan of Rob Zombie’s films, I find them annoying and too stylistic. Can’t wait to rewatch One Hour Photo, glad you recommend it! Let us know what you think of Ghostland, I want to watch it ASAP but Matt might have other plans for our watchlist lol.
