I'm so getting this game...been looking forward to it for months and love the artstyle and Buffy-ish vibe from it and feels just like old CN shows I used to watch.

I too was stuck a the skull podium section for far longer than I care to admit. I thought for sure it was a game breaking bug.

The problem is they use so much time to make the game to look like a cartoon that they forgot they are making a game first, the combat indeed looks boring, i'll give it a try later.

Brother I played the demo and imma tell you, the action is great. They have 2 animators and 2 coders so they have a equal amount of action and Animation.

I quit the demo as soon as the combat kicked in. It’s very stiff and not fun at all imo

It gets a little better as you unlock things but it's never great

You are correct, sir. It’s the greatest feature is its biggest weakness. It plays well enough until you actually start fighting and then you immediately realize the flaws. that’s not to say that it isn’t a good game. It is in fact a very good game. It’s just disappointing that the visuals and the combat aren’t evenly balanced.

just finished the game yesterday, yeah it takes a while to get into the combat, but once you unlocked certain things, it's a lot of fun, and a lot of the boss fights even spice it up with different mechanics from time to time. Highly recommend it

With the sidequest disappearing, would you think any of the achievements are missable?

Potentially, I rarely focus on them so I can't say for sure.

@@XboxEra Can you go to earlier "floors" to fight earlier enemies? as the achievements for making selfies with ll the enemies and all the town folks seems the most likely to be already missable.

@@missitheachievementhuntres560 I could be wrong, but at least in my playthrough, there where 2 enemies I just could not get a photo of. So yeah, I guess there are some missables. The was also a side mission I could not complete after chapter 4

@@toongrowner1 Yeah I found that sadly multiple achievements are missable. I just missed the one heart piece that seems to be missable :(
