The best RC car this summer is the one that you are driving and we have a new car to hit the dusty track with.
We are massive fans of FTX and the time has come to Upgrade our fav FTX Car. The FTX Apache is a stunning car and is joined by the FTX Rokotan and FTX Ramraider (not the Raminator) on this amazing platform. They are RTR brushless cars that even come with a 3s lipo included at a crazy price.

just my 2 cents but personally on a basher i'd not replace the the a-arms/suspension arms with aluminium parts as especially these parts should have some flex (alu doesn't flex, it bends - once) and are also a defined breaking point and are rather simple to fix. in the current setup it looks like the diff housing/bulkhead is the first weak point in the front and back. may you have few crashes and lots of luck with your alu parts!

Absolutely right.. they look great, but break/bend and on top of that will probably break the part they’re attached to as well. So in the end cause a lot more damage in a crash than the original plastic part would have done.

Those pillow ball caps are going to shake themselves loose in no time. A bit of ptfe tape wouldn't hurt. Might stop your front end getting weird.

Really nice bitzes n pieces. Like many in here though, I would not have gone for the Alu arms. They'll probably be fine, up until you have a big crash. Having said that, if you are planning to run it like you did in the running footage, you'll probably be ok.

Always Always use a bolt and nut where you can,screw pins and or e clips are for the bin

Take the steering, rear arms and towers should be the same. As for the the front arms are totally different.

That's looking great 👍 I had the Ramraider but sold it for MT10. The only thing that let it down was the handerling. Wish Ftx released centre diff upgrades. Should be standard in 4x4 rcs nowadays lol Associated do it even in there reflex range. I would have bought all 3 if they had a centre diff lol

The Zorro has a centre diff but it is a weak point. My first two diffs broke after a short time and had no grease in them. Third diff is good so far, need a tree to touch on that one. Ha ha.😊😊😊

MT10 is almost indistructable they only need RPM arms, like to get one soon.

You could use a small piece of foam to keep the nut in place when you turn it upside down.

agree no center diff on most modern cars is a minus, well if its a race car and use a center slipper that is another case.

That looks great. I take it, with the front and rear arms, do they come with the long pins and e clips in the bag, or did you have to get those separately? 👍🏻

The brushless zorro has one, but i haven't seen one for the Apache.they go really well round our track featured in this video. The brushless zorro which I have is great too.both amazing vehicles 👍

Last thing I would put on an rc is aluminum arms, everbody knows why ha ha. If you have to buy all these bling metal upgrades, you are turning a cheap £250 truck into a £400 cheap truck still. I would rather put the £400 straight into a much better performing higher grade truck.
