We are seeing a lot of negative customer service issues on blue alpine. On KZfaq.

as an owner, i haven't had any,. they are very responsive and answer all questions relatively quickly. besides one guy (on youtube), i haven't seen any negative customer videos. they have a large subscriber base (1,200+ and fast growing) in less than one year. Good guys, who put a lot of effort into their videos/visuals/tutorials. then again, it's not a competition, you have to pick what freeze dryer brand best suits your personal home/business needs.
