How is it a waste of taxpayer dollars? The BA is one of the few things that I actually support. They bring in lots of interest by promoting the Navy and Marines and inspiring some to join the military. Would you prefer to have our country defenseless?

@@michaelk9284 I'm not in the military but I absolutely support the US military and especially the Blue Angels. The Blues throughout their history have traveled to many cities flying their demo and inspiring many people to eventually join the Navy. Case in point, the previous Boss, Brian Kessering testified that he was inspired by the Blue Angels when he was young. seeing them fly at airshows. Another was Blue Angel #4, Scott Goosens who grew up in San Francisco and watch the Blues demo at Fleet Week also was inspired to join the Navy. Say what you want about "wasting" money and what not but these demos are very helpful to inspire many young generation to join the military. I rather have them join the military WILLINGLY rather than have to be drafted.
