Ahhhhh! So satisfying and delightful you guys! So lucky to get to hear you often at the Jazz Station in Eugene, Oregon, which is such an intimate venue. Ooops! The secret is out... And the ticket price is ridiculously low for this level of performance by gifted musicians like Tony and Jack. I feel so lucky to have discovered this amazing venue and these musicians who are not only gifted with talent, skill and creativity and have obviously put in the intense practice and study, but are great people too! Thank you Jack and Tony for sharing this wonderful performance on KZfaq!

Só que se trata do momento em que a bossa nova já não é mais "Brasil com S" senão "BraZil". É uma composição de Kenny Dorham, mistura de hardbop e bossa nova. O músico tinha conhecido o R 1:44 io de Janeiro em 1961. Joe Henderson fez a primeira gravação em 1963.

Nice performance. Thank you. I’m both a big Herb Alpert as well as samba and bossa nova aficionado and I’m thinking the mellower flugelhorn is the perfect match for those sounds versus the trumpet. I also recently learned that Herb has played flugelhorn on some recordings.
