I run two because that's not the only trap I run. I'm surprised he isn't running unrivaled fist of the tenyi 3 Blue Eyes White Dragons 2 Alternate White Dragons that can get key monster,spell, or trap interruption and Tyrant Dragon can reset it as well. And if he runs a vanilla Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon and gets destroyed by opponent card effect special summon any normal fusion monster. Crazy his only trap is imperm

I tend to use 2 of Jets to have them in a loop of protection to all monsters. And also a few Dragunitys to summon Ascalon or Areadbhair

My favorite is a card rarely seen play anymore Dragon Spirit of White. I count how many times ive gotten clutch wins because i got her on the field at right time getting that clutch backrow banish. Its also considered a normal monster in grave/hand so Azure Eyes synchro can bring her back.

I would highly recommend adding at least 1 copy of The ultimate creature of destruction to the deck. I play 2/3 copies of in my Blue-eyes deck, and it always comes in hand. You can discard it with Dictator's effect to summon a Blue-eyes from the GY, and then IF you summoned Blue-eyes White Dragon, it sets itself(basically for free) on your field for next turn. Also, the protection effect is a soft 1 per turn so you can protect more than 1 Blue-eyes monster if you have more copies set!

Blue eyes alternative is my favorite card ever just a beautiful card and always a threat. My first deck and favorite at the time was hero’s back when I was obsessed as a kid then I grew up and took like a ten year break, now I’m back with blue eyes and I love it.

My favourite Blue-Eyes monster is Chaos MAX. I know it's considered bad and all, but I love just how badass she looks and just how devastating the double piercing is. Absolutely love that you included Chaos MAX in the pfp, legend! Also, I'm glad someone else does the Crystal Wing tagging too! A card that can help with this is "Mausoleum of White". It gives you an extra Normal Summon of a Lv 1 LIGHT Tuner and you can target a monster you control to dump a BEWD to the GY to give it extra Atk (but the spicy tech is using it with Maiden with Eyes of Blue so she specials another BEWD for free because she got targetted).

I feel like I need to preface "I know it's bad", because any time I show Chaos MAX any love, I get bombarded with; "BuT iT's So BaD, yOu NoOb" and I can't be bothered with the notif spam of being told how bad I am at the game, I figured that much out myself, lmao

Also, I play one coral dragon, because assault synchron + dictator can summon it, and assault synchron can bring it back in case if it gets banished(by the likes of chaos angel) or tributed(by the likes of Kaiju).

Always liked running a Danger! engine which is only 3 Thunderbird and Bigfoot. Blue-eyes still needs a better searcher like a maybe a link two that requires one "eyes of blue" or "blue-eyes" monster. Would really like a xyz blue-eyes monster too since they can really put out the level 8's.

Horus is probably better because the horus engine itself is strong, so it'd likely carry the blue-eyes cards instead of balance out with them. Especially since with the spell card on the field, you can link/XYZs the Horus cards away then just bring them back from the graveyard on the next turn.

throw in revolution synchron it can sychro from hand with dictator of d for a crystal wing without using your normal summon, also fairy dragon lets you tap into crystal wing one turn early compared to moonlight, Zombie Vampire and Hope need to be in here forget about all the Links the deck puts big boys on field. also crazy to run Assault synchron without going for the Crimson dragon into Trish.

Spirit dragon says to pop the tagged monster at the EP of "this turn" not the next turn. Also it can only tag out for light dragon synchros

I think it just needs to be a Light Dragon Synchro. People just prefer to use Azure Eyes because it won't self-destruct at the end of the turn.

No Dragon shrine? It's good at getting Jet into the GY at turn 1. Speaking of, I like to play 2 Jets. You really want to get it on the field asap. Also is there a reason you won't play 2 Ultimate fusion but 1 Poly instead? I play a more XYZ heavy Deck, with Nr.38 and the Numeron Dragon OTK.

Dragon shrine just isn't needed when melody can search what you need, I play 1 poly because you can search it off deep eyes. I also have a horus build if you wanna play more xyzs

@@DarkArmedDuelist Yeah, Melody helps but with Dragon Shrine you have more consistency and the deck bricks a lot anyway so why not? Didn't thought about Deep Eyes searching only Poly, thanks. And yeah, I''ve seen that. Personally I prefer the XYZ package.

i like the fact that konami makes support archetypes around classic cards, but it feels exceedingly pointless when they’re not even viable as rogue decks. anime archetypes are a cool idea, but konami should put more effort into making them if they’re going to bother at all tbh

Got 4th place or something at locals once by losing maybe once out of 5 duels and man summoning Blue eyes and doing well yes as one observer was watching by "Bystial" doing the heavy work, well yea dude Blue eyes on its own doesnt have stun capabilities like Branded beast 😅 and plus my love for chaos reigned supreme when i banished a light and/or a dark monster to Chaos summon my monsters of destruction muhahaha😂

Unreliable search. You have to have 3 copies in the deck to have guaranteed search.

The card isn't really reliable. It's a brick in hand and it's effect isn't all that great. No protection effects and mediocre source of attack. Plus, with a lot of the big decks today having a lot of destruction immunity built in, the destruction effect of Deep Eyes isn't really effective. The most it can do is the damage effect on special summon, but you can only get that if you summon it via it's own effect so again, unreliable. It's not searchable either. It doesn't really have a lot going for it. Hope that cleared some things up.
