The great part of applying blue eyeshadow for brown eyes is because blue is the opposite of brown on the color wheel, so it really makes your eyes pop!

Complimentary colors! That's why it goes well with brown eyes, since brown is like a dark orange, and blue is opposite of it on the color wheel :)

Does that mean people with blue eyes should wear brown to make them pop? I have blue eyes and I love blue eye shadow but it just never looks right so I stick with brown/nude neutrals. But I'm tired of the same boring browns.

⁠@@michelemorgan6176try to go for matte oranges for blending and smoking out edges, rusts colors, warm almost reddish browns (for liners especially) and shimmery bronze and gold colors, even a shimmery taupe shade (which I like to use for my lid) I then like to use a matte brown eyeshadow to define my crease and smoke out my eyeliner on my lower lash line, which I will then blend the edges of with a matte orange shade 😊 These sorts of colors will do wonders for blue eyes! I hope this made a lick of sense haha ❤ These are all in the family of colors that sit opposite blue on the color wheel and will really bring out your blue eyes 😊 I hoped this helped in some way

Very pretty. I like to see people wearing colorful eyeshadow although I almost never see it in real life as I live in a small small town where there is no were to go out to really. I can't really do it myself. I pretty much have hooded eyes.
