As a 90s kid, growing up I used to hear Elton John and Blue esp in the 2000s. Back then it feels just like another "love song". I'm close to 40 now, and after so many heart breaks (and also finding my true love), this song really cut me deep. How can somebody else 'hates' you despite how you love them greatly? Not to mention, I heard another version of the song from Putri Ariani in America's Got Talent couple days ago. She really screams her heart out (I imagine her life struggles and just want to be accepted, like everybody else). Love is a good reason for us live a good and fulfilling live, I guess...

The songs were made then in order to be precious now ... when we REALLY need them. Interesting how the song recognises that sadness is only a step away from absurdity. Just as evil is close to chaos, as 2022 makes plain. But forgiveness builds something, offers greater order, more love, more meaning. WE ALL NEED IT.

As a child, i begged my dad to buy me this album which was quite expensive back then (I'm from Turkey and foreign albums were more expensive) my dad said no and i literally cried there 😅 so he bought it and we were listening the whole album all the time in the car. After a while dad and mom started to sing with me 😁💞

this music was never underated. not on the time that came out. but time goes on... In my opinion all the packet : Blue is underated, great songs and nobody talk about them. For me was the last boysband that really got something to listen for

20 years ago today (15th December) this became Blue's third number one single in the UK (and Elton John's fifth). Still such a great cover of a beautiful song. Had the privilege of seeing them open their current tour with it at the O2 on Tuesday this week!

When this song was released I was 20,and I felt nostalgic listening to it. Now I am even more for obvious reasons. Me and my ex friend loved this song.
