aww man I wish you had included all the errors from Texas that led to the home run. This game, and specifically the 7th inning, was the most intense sporting event I've ever witnessed. So many mood swings lol

Stroman was good, Donaldson was good, Bautista was great, but we're forgetting the real MVP of this game. Thanks Andrus, this wouldn't have been possible without you.

Osuna coming in and striking out 4 of the 5 he faced. No one talks about that because of Joey Bats. Unreal game

Osuna was incredible. Comes in with 2 runners on and retired the next 5 to save the game.

In my experience, this is the most memorable inning of baseball. I only watched on TV, but I leapt in the air, yelled, and fist pumped so hard I almost put my back out. I have no idea how this will ever be re-created, and I honestly hope that it won't.

I dont understand why everybody calls good teams fans bandwagons. EVERY TEAM WILL HAVE AN EMPTY STADIUM UNTIL THEY ARE GOOD. Nobody should expect a team that loses 100 games to sell out every stadium. Of course the jays did not sell out there first 100 games or so (other than hone opener and canada day) because they were average!!!

Happy to say I jumped on in 2014, all because of Bautista, Edwin and Jose Reyes. Sadly, none of them are with Jays anymore, and noticed I've become less and less interested mind u losing 2 of every 3 games it feels like probably has something to do with that.

I went to my bedroom window and yelled "Are you kidding me!!!??" at the top of lungs THREE separate times in the 7th inning alone. At the time I remember saying to my girlfriend that was the top sports moment of the century. The most exciting, dramatic, and entertaining game you will ever see. If you don't believe me a sports writer wrote an entire book about just the 7th inning alone. (Which incidentally has one of the all time funniest passages in sports writing where he imagines a fictional backstory for how Roughned Odor got his name.)
@ethanjobson38794 жыл бұрын
Hell of a game. Everyone remembers it for the Bautista homer and no doubt that was iconic, but also featured one of the most batshit scoring plays I’ve seen in any sport.

This may sound dumb but Texas planned that 3rd run off the bat. First choo had 1 foot out of box and 1 in, his bat was directly over the plate. Second, the coaching staff already had the argument planned and ready. Third. Odour was watching this and ran home as soon as it hit. Any other time he would have his back turned walking back to bag. Lastly they gave up those errors and home run. Karma of trying to cheat.

I think that was the day a lot of people went from Cheering against the Rangers to Cheering against the Blue Jays. Great game remembered by a lot of idiots who embarrassed their team. Worst part was it was on a good call. They just decided to cry rather than have faith in their team.
@cameronleah60567 жыл бұрын
Dude Almost any other team would have done the same. Throwing bottles on the field is something many other teams have done before.
@Kartkid0247 жыл бұрын
Cameron Leah Well I don't know about that. They did it several times too. I've seen it done before and never liked it, but never have I seen it that bad. In the end though, like I said, that was the point I think many people started cheering against them.
@kenised7 жыл бұрын
I think many people are just butthurt babies who cry. Go find out what people in Europe do when football games go south and then take a look at a little beer shower and whine.
@Kartkid0247 жыл бұрын
kenised Oh I know, many countries go to some crazy lengths. Still doesn't make this OK though. Someone could have gotten hurt. Oh and by the way, being butt hurt doesn't make sense. Like I said, it was people cheering against Texas. So Texas losing would not make them Butt hurt. Only butt hurt people in all of this were the Toronto fans.
@Kartkid0247 жыл бұрын
kenised LOL, I'm a National League fan from Chicago actually cheering against Texas (as their fans are becoming more and more annoying). So if you can come up with a logic on why I would be butt hurt over something Toronto Blue Jays fans did and in a game that Texas eventually lost in a series that Texas lost, please fill me in.

what is never mentioned is that the hoe plate umpire waved the play 'dead', yet magically the run scored ?
@brandonfrancey55925 жыл бұрын
There was no legitimate reason to call the ball dead. There was no way the defense was going to get the ball and throw the runner out even if the ump didn't call the ball dead. That run was going to score regardless, the right call was made.
@ivodozi5 жыл бұрын
My problem is that Choo had been thrown pitches before, the count was 2-2 I think, and not once at that bat did he stick his hand out to "get ready for the next pitch". Choo was watching Martin throw the ball back, and made sure that the bat was in the way on that throw back. The ball being called dead was the right call because it was intentional on the part of the batter to interfere with the throw back. In my opinion, Choo should have been called out and ejected for intentional delay of game.

Don't worry the fake record Rangers +18 runs differential vs a team that is 25 games over .500. I'm sorry but Texas is in a weak division and will get slaughtered by Another team in the American League.
