We decided to have a little fun with our son's bedroom walls. We had already painted an accent wall with a very dark, navy blue and we had extra paint. Using that extra paint as our darkest color in the ombre, we color matched it and just bought every lighter variation on the paint chip. We used Behr Marquee One Coat Paint/Primer. We started with the sky and the moon (used a dinner plate as my moon stencil). There was no set pattern, we just roughed the mountains out. In the end, I decided a lone tree would give some depth and perspective. When it was dry, it definitely changed color. We had to label all of the cans because the wet paint was not easy to match to the wall. As we did touch-ups, they all looked the same. There is a subtle effect, which looks like the colors blending, at the border of each color. This is just an illusion, we did no blending. It took an afternoon to complete and brought a lot of interest to the room.
