I love to use less obvious approaches in my artwork. Spatulas aren't a new tool to use in painting, but in this video I show you how I used it to get texture with watercolors and gouache as opposed to acrylic. I had never done that before, but I kinda loved the end result.
I will be sharing more of my paintings on KZfaq in a tutorial style moving forward, for now here is a walk through of my art playtime from the other day.
