There are a lot of great Canadian bands like Blue Rodeo, Glass Tiger, The Guess Who, Bachmann Turner Overdrive, Triumph, and there's a lot more! But I have to say that Blue Rodeo is STELLAR, along with Glass Tiger which is my favorite band.

I don't know why they never made it in the u.s but last year I was bored and going threw utube and looking for something different and came across one of their songs .don't remember which one but do remember that it hit me to check this band out and they have some great music not their style isn't what we're used to un ybe lower 48 but still a fantastic band and I'll probably never make it to Canada but if they make it to Florida I'd go see them a great band and I guess I'm their no.1 fan here

Love BR myself. And this is by far my favorite from them. However, just FYI, hurricane season starts June 1st but the storms actually start forming in mid may. Which is only 2 weeks before the season actually starts. So all in all, yes, this song does make sense.

There are quite a few Blue Rodeo songs that feature Young-esque solos. 'Side of the Road' (on 'Nowhere to Here') pastiches Neil Young's guitar style perfectly ...... which may be what got me into the band in the first place.

Honestly one of my favourite of all time. Up there with comfortably numb and sultans. Just full of "feeling." Inspired me to try and play myself.

It's legitimately the worst guitar solo I've ever heard in my life. Sounds like he just learned how to do pinch harmonics, picked a shitty tone for it, and went nuts, then released the song without letting anyone else in the band/studio listen to it beforehand. Listen to the note at 6:14 that's completely out of key and the deadened set of pinch harmonics following it. Like how did no one say ok greg that's enough. That's enough Joey Joe, that's enough.
