I'm getting one for my birthday and im so excited becaue over the last 4 years I have been collecting gear (guitar, drums, bass) and now I will be able to record genuine music in my room

This is, to me, the best bang for the buck XLR microphone that you can get right now. The sound it captures is very crisp and clear, and I absolutely love it. Enjoy!

I just got one and I've been using it with the focusrite scarlett solo 2nd gen and I get terrible popping and crackling and the levels go up and down

I really like my spark too :D I'd recommend getting a better shock mount, such as the Samson SP01, too :)

I wouldn't call this a BUDGET microphone the blue yeti is a low budget mic and the neumann u87 is a high budget mic but the spark is a mid range mic so it isn't a '' budget'' mic (its no high range mic and no low end mic)

+Project Gaming Eh, I can play a little, have played a few years ago, but just didn't really get into it. I was a drummer throughout Middle school, so I know quite a bit in the percussion department. :)

You sing good. Try in Bollywood. Don't know Bollywood?? Then I will make one video on it for you. I enjoyed it. After working for 3-4 month on ios, Now, I have to learn Ionic and AngularJS temporarily for hybrid app. Will come back soon on ios.
