Just a little off. It's "and through the rust". "The last breath is spoken." and "through the wires." Could always be wrong but that's how I hear it.

Xin n I was going to make a comment pointing out the exact same things you hear. Now of course I could be wrong as well, but I have good hearing, a vast vocabulary, and a very high quality headset so it's not often I mishear lyrics. Would be nice if Bret would release a lyric video version that he provided the lyrics himself.

I think it was The Fall where I couldn't even start figuring out the lyrics until he released the lyric video. Also the one for Down In Flames looked really amazing :P

I've said it on the FiXT version, and I'll say it here again. The melodies and that 'ahh' mixed into the final chorus at the end of the song. I dunno why, but it's just so frigging awesome to listen to. Definitely the most memorable part of what was already a killer song.
