Actually her return was NOT near as good as the 13' footer the twins used to have. Plus, you don't ride the wave down into the trough like a surfer would , you ride the trough or the back of the wave in front of you, not near the crest of the following sea behind you.

I'd say she showed us why she earned the title of Legend. She can navigate that channel with a full send, or she can hit it so smoothly even your grandma would come out for a day on the ocean.

Great to see the BTL back running in and out of Boca, looks like she's slowed down a notch with this larger boat. She did GREAT in her two passes through Boca, missed seeing her sister with her through.

OMG it's good to see the Legend back. She seemed a little timid on the return. But she didn't have her crew on board squealing encouragement. That young lady is masterful at handling a boat. Her steering and throttle control are awesome whether sending it or just riding the waves.

Watching from rainy and cold Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧🌍 I have no idea who Blue Top Legend is, but it's nice to see a woman taking the helm for once!! And ....she has the skill to actually control her boat, unlike most of the others! I crewed on a yacht for a week once......chief cook and bottle washer extraordinar! 😅 I knew nothing about sailing, but had the privilege to be allowed to take the helm quite a few times....it was amazing!! Sailing off of the West coast of Scotland, and around the islands. Needless to say, it DEFINITELY wasn't Miami weather, and got extremely rough, but was brilliant fun.

In my 22-year career of running yachts and commercial longliners on the eastern seaboard ranging from Newfoundland to Trinidad. I am very thankful I never experienced an issue that would have forced me to a port in Florida. I always plot a course at least 50 miles off the coast. I hope I never have to navigate through all these toys ramming aimlessly through the inlets. I've never seen such chaos anywhere else.

Oh stop it, you got to admit it's entertaining to see how ridiculous these folks act in these vessels. I've been a pilot for decades, and have flown commercial, but I don't set back and judge anyone that wants to enjoy flying in any capacity. That snobbery can go elsewhere

Bought a brand new 15’ BW Dauntless in 1997 for $12K out the door, nicely equipped. Best boat I ever had. Sold it 12 years later and regret it, especially after watching her surf the inlet. Thanks for the awesome memories young lady!

13' or 17' these girls are Legends for a reason. Top up , down or no top. 16 yrs I had a 13'4" Sport , which never chime walked like the Twins have & come out of it. Look how she times her way back in , a roller Queen and the one & only BTL .

Yep. I remember seeing an interview with them, and they hadn't been boating for long. So impressive instincts for reading the waves and conditions, working the boat and having fun. I get the feeling they could have a bright future in competitions, if they wanted that.

Watching her come back in I was thinking at least she didn’t stuff the nose. But then as she gets closer you can see that she really knows what she’s doing. Confident in the trough keeping the nose up and then even a little surf action at the end. She’s a legit skipper!

There is no doubt Blue Top is a good boat driver. I've followed them (the twins) since daddy let them take the boat for the first time. But....I didn't like the fact that she went out with no PFD on, by herself and the emergency kill lanyard was not connected to her swim suit. I don't want to see her become a statistic.

BTL did great, I'd have to give it to the Sailfish on points, though. But that's not taking anything away from BTL, it's just riding that Sailfish in with the two ladies calming sitting in the back like that was legend.
