I am 45 in September. I’ve lived all over the country. From Paradise Valley AZ to Denver CO, Boston MA, Bar Harbor ME, New Orleans LA, Portsmouth NH, San Diego CA, Los Angles CA, Ventura CA, Harrington ME, Pensacola FL, Chicago IL and even El Salvador Central America. But the country is going to hell in a hand basket. People do not have morals. It seems like parents never taught their kids any values such as respect or how and why you should always do the right thing. I have several children and I try to teach them right from wrong but at the same time I have to teach them how to hurt someone and when and why it’s needed to in order to protect themselves. Last week I was explaining to my 13yo daughter that when someone tries to pressure her by force into doing something that she doesn’t want to do that if she has no other option, to punch someone in the throat in order to stop them so she can get away. My 13yo daughter weighs 120 lbs and is 5’6”. She asked me what she should do in a situation like this. I didn’t bring it up. I worry for the future that they will need to endure. God help future generations if no one has morals or ethics.
