It was engrossing to watch the painting take shape and come alive. I love a bluebell wood, but wondered how you would capture it as you first began with the very soft and fluid colours. Thank you. It's beautiful. I look forward to trying a much softer approach to my beginner attempts. I get too hung up on the detail.

Just discovered you - its amazing that your wet into wet does not get mixed up. Lovely little tips in the bluebell woods picture, great technique I shall be looking more at your videos, thank you I will be back, you have stirred my interest again. Its always helpful when we have a list of the colours for the picture to enable us to prepare the pallet.

Thank you! You can make brush strokes when you are working damp into damp or wet on dry, using a variety of brushes and strokes 😀

Thank you for your comment so pleased that you liked the tutorial and find it soothing. I use a natural sponge, but maybe practice on a rough bit of paper, to see if you can get some nice texture from whatever sponge you are using. Hope this is helpful happy painting :-)

@@sherrylee6719 I have been using the QOR colours for a week or so now and I am loving them, especially the Indigo! It's a beautiful colour and moves so well! Thank you again for the recommendation! :)

@@KarenRiceArt Whew! I'm so glad you love them. I love all of the colors, but I think the Quin Magenta is my favorite. Qor's unique binder, Aquazol, in QOR is what makes the pigments so rich and vibrant. I love how the colors swoosh across the paper. I still use Daniel Smith and W&N. Oh, I just got home from the beach and watched your abstract seascape...great timing. I wonder how different our coastlines are? If you are ever interested in photos from my area, I'll be happy to send them without copyright restrictions for you and your viewers/members to use. I live in North Carolina, a state where we have both the Blue Ridge Mountains to the west and the coastline to the east. Please don't worry to say you'd rather not since you are probably inundated with things from you viewers. Have a great week ahead.

Love you, love your videos, love your paintings but the music was unbearable. The music seemed a little childish. I’m still giving you a 👍. Of course this comment about the music comes from a mans’s point of view.

On the contrary, I find the music very soothing and goes well with the painting process. This is another man's point of view.
