Ethan Hamilton its a tenor bass bones have a bigger bell and often 2 triggers
@johnslattery63856 жыл бұрын
Sebas Becerra it's definitely a single trigger tenor. The difference is in the bore size.
@sebasbecerra14356 жыл бұрын
john slattery the bore doesnt affect it all that much those baritones are yamaha which means theyre large bore nothing in the low brass section is small bore and I asked because my dci bari/euph tech marched batitone for the coats
@johnslattery63856 жыл бұрын
Sebas Becerra sorry if I was unclear, I was referring to the difference between the tenor and bass trombones.
@hankjamison81946 жыл бұрын
john slattery bore size doesn't really affect it either. It's the triggers. What makes a bass trombone a bass trombone is the fact that it has two triggers. The thing trigger alone can't hit a low b natural or lower without getting into pedal range. With the double trigger you can easily go below that making it a bass trombone

On the topic You're going to be out of tune playing trombone at first though. Try to keep in mind you have a tuning slide in your hands, so take positioning with a grain of salt. Embouchure adjustments to your tendencies basically aren't necessary anymore.

when you audition, do you audition on either baritone or euphonium, or do you audition on one and they assign you one of those if you make it? also, are you expected to know trombone if you make it on bari or euph? hope you see this and reply
@conradcash51037 жыл бұрын
You can audition on either and the staff can put you on either if you make it. As to knowing trombone, I have no clue. But it's not that hard, the way I learned was to assign each slide position to a fingering.
