As someone whos been playing bdo since a year or so before the steam release off and on. (Lost my original acc with the pearl abyss retake) Bdo is definitely in the best returning/new player state ive experienced. All the places i couldnt dream of are available and the grind feels worth while and attainable. I remember open world pvp witn the guild decs on my weak ass life skilling guild. They tried to come defend me but it was Some tamer main. So much has changed that im quickly drawn back in with lifeskill merge and all the qol updates. Especially the enhancing changes. But ill admit i got drawn back over from all the cheating in cod ranked. Needed something fresh. Awesome to have something other than guides related to listen to while playing.

i feel like if they made some form of 24/7 pvp it would really be a great addition to the game. Maybe faction pvp, 3 teams kind of like how eso did it but in the bdo way. capped and uncapped campaigns that last a certain amount of days. get rewards based on placements, placements based on points obtained. Either random teams or random teams with whole guilds signed up distributed evenly without being able to see whose where until you get inside the campaign (no list just by physically seeing). That way people can zerg with guild and friends. With the top 3 guilds always distributed evenly meaning cho and digital and the other (new to pc so lack of knowledge there) cant be on the same team because we know what would happen and game would be boring lol. (maybe not if it doesnt happen too often dont wanna hard punish players for being good or geared). Dont wanna go too much into detail but you get the just.

Totally agree with the random picking of players for War of the Roses. I hope PA will make that happen soon. We all want to play it! Not only for top guilds and players.

If they did a sub only ironman with no Pearl Shop, they could have outfits and other Pearl Shop items be rare drops or better as rewards for achievements. If they took out the P2W, allow a bypass to the RNG upgrade, and then make it super immersive; I think a lot of people would not have problem dropping 25-30 a month for a sub on the game.

@@DrSwazz I don't think that it would pull players from BDO as it would pull old BDO players back to the game and players who just won't play BDO for the monetization, RNG, lack of immersion(oversexualization). So if they had 10K players paying say $25 a month, that would be 250K per month or 1 million in 4 months; The code is largely done, so that it would be a matter of doing some tweaking and setting up the servers.

@@joe6pak14 You don't understand. Replacing the cash shop with a simple subscription model is simply a massive cut to revenue. There's zero reason for PA to do this.

@@DrSwazz This wouldn't replace current BDO. Think of it like having Retail WoW and Classic WoW. Current BDO players would in most cases stay playing BDO. A lot of former BDO players and people who never really got into BDO because of the Cash Shop would play the a sub only BDO. There is a huge potential playerbase that won't touch BDO because of the cash shop, infinite grind, and RNG enhancement. This is mostly Blue Ocean and I don't think that it would negatively affect the revenue from the current BDO playerbase.

@@joe6pak14 The current team at PA is skeletal for this game, there's no way they could reliably support a second BDO. In a world where PA has a healthy team on the game, I could see this.

1:20:09 They just add the forum posts afterwards. For the unification of life crystals they added 2 random 'simplify the game' posts and i pointed out in the comments there is a forum post about the exact topic. After a week it the forum post appeared in the gm post. Not saying they don't consider about the feedback in the forum posts, but most of these changes were already planed by the dev themself and PA just wants to farm fame.

The grind is getting out of hand now regardless if you enhance yourself or buy from CM, the cost and prices is just absurd and im getting tired and bored of it as I can only do 1 9 to 5 daily...

You had me until you said BDO is BETTER. BDO Was built on the backs of games like runescape. You should TOTALLY do a group iron with BDO guys though that would be fucking hilarious. OSRS also has an audience that I think would like you. I literally afk on OSRS when i play BDO, or AFK on BDO while I play OSRS.
