You have to try the SMW rom hack "SMW Remade form Memory". Basically, the game is recreated from memory, including level designs, music, etc. Definitely triggers an "uncanny valley" like feeling.

World 8 definitely seemed to have the most challenging levels . I also was expecting that ? block in world 6 to have something different, though I probably wouldn't had hit it anyway, hard to say to trust the arrows when there's a bunch of them.

1-1 World 2 Part 2! First level! 1-1 but watch for softlocks . . . oh no. And a row of Kaizo Blocks . . . as expected. Not too bad of a level. Next level is 1-1 but it's tiny! This looks a bit cramped. Not hard, just a fun gimmick. Next is 1-1 but weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (And yes, I did count how many e's there were) Shell Surfing! That's a lot of Pigs! WE GOT MOLED! Baby Face Springs! Next is 1-1 but made with my nose? That is a challenging way to make a level. Nice Level. Now 1-1 but it builds itself. THIS IS SO COOL! AWESOME LEVEL! Next is Worlds Sixes 1-1 but it's realistic. Now that is comedy at its finest. next is 1-1 but it's cursed! Now this just hurts my brain. Neat level. 1-1 but it's absolute garbage. We got Moled again! Hit the Block! It's reverse psychology! I think . . . maybe. We beat it! Next is 1-1 BUT DON'T DIE TO THE FIRST GOOMBA! This shouldn't be hard . . . ohhhhhh that's a lot of goombas. Wonder what that door is . . . anyways 1-1 but I deleted the floor. Yeah I'd say a lot of the floor is missing. World 7 Time! 1-1 but it's flappy bird. Fun level! pretty hard looking! Next is 1-1 but it's getting destroyed. Nice level! Not too hard! next is 1-1 but WITH MAXIMUM SPEED! SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED! SO CLOSE! WE GOT IT! Up next we got 1-1 but it's simple platforming! That's a small amount of spikes. Honestly could use some more spikes. 1-1 but it's parkou- wait a minute I remember this! Guess we are doing it again! We did it! World 8 Time! Next up is 1-1 but you can't touch the ground! This looks tricky! But we did it! Next it 1-1 but you NEED the mushrooms. Damage Boosting Time! SO CLOSE! AGAIN! WE DONE DID IT! 1-1 but it's an auto runner. It's one of these bullet bill blaster levels! We did it! No just for 1-1 but it's the last level! BOWSER CHASE! SO CLOSE! AGAIN AGAIN! WE DID IT! Awesome Super World and Awesome Video! Hope we get more 1-1 but worlds! Or maybe even levels other than 1-1!

I believe the "cursed" level is more like the phrase people use to describe something that's bad or whatever. "That's so cursed." In the level, scaling was wrong, things were put in wrong boxes, etc.
