Though fairly common, Yoshi falling down a pit is certainly one of the darker ways a character has gone out. We see him desperately trying to be helpful to the player only to fall in the end. This is why I try not to have Yoshi killed at all costs.

The ghost must have driven Yoshi down there by messing with the world and then manipulated him into breaking the orb.

Oh my, it feels like it's Halloween already. This was one of the saddest endings I have ever seen in a game. But one thing's for sure: I am never going to drop a Yoshi into a pit ever again!

This is even more cruel than you think! Remember when we lost the Super Happy Tree? Keep in mind, we Yoshis rely heavily on our mood! If we get depressed, it's over. Nightmares like this are even worse, considering how we need to stay positive! All in all, this is why you should NEVER drop us into pits!

Peach using her normal sprite in Hyrule's Dark World means either A) there's a moon pearl incorporated into that jewelry she wears somewhere or B) her normal appearance is the very best possible physical representation of her personality

It's the crown, remember? It has its own transformation spell attached to it, and apparently, it overrides or overpowers the Dark World's magic. Otherwise, she'd probably change into a Goomba.

Yoshi just always smiling at the sonic exe section is basically him saying "i love this game of hide n seek! What a gentleman for playing with me, hes much better than mario" and then when hes at darkness its "im scared... wait did i just feel a emotion other than happiness?" I made an entire Mario maker 2 level about this, basically it is a normal level with yoshi with a few puzzles that require yoshi, even though a lot of jumps would be way easier by jumping off of yoshi

Feels sad leaving yoshi to fall into the pit, so that's why I make my mario maker levels so if theirs a yoshi in it, you can adventure to the end of the level and get the flag with yoshi!

For a second, I thought this game was an actual Super Mario World ROM hack, but when I noticed the Game Jolt link, I was snapped back into reality. I don't think real SNES hardware can zoom in like the game in the video does. Either way, I feel bad for Yoshi, since Mario has grown aware of the concept of using Yoshi as an extra jump to get across longer gaps.

Mario kinda cause the end world and at end when yoshi's was crying he basically knew that there is nothing to save him and his friends, even if they gotten out their world would has been still erased from existing, and then you got mario trying to cheer up yoshi and saying don't worry yoshi we will get out of here, Unaware that this is last moments existing, it hopeless situation. At least yoshi's died knowing he is surrounded by his love ones and made it back to Mario On happier note This is good video
