MISSING STEPS!!!! I just followed this instruction video to install the Pure Bluetooth Kit for my 2005 4Runner. There are 2 key steps missing - in 2 instances they forget to tell you to remove bolts/screws holding plastic modeling in place. Failing to remove these bolts/screws will result in damage to your molding. 1) At 1:38, the video jumps ahead (probably an editing error) you will need to remove the spring loaded plastic pocket drawer. This is easy to remove, just open it and pull it up (gently so not to break the plastic clips holding it in place). Once that is out you will see a dark screw in the center, just below the AC temp control know wheel. Remove that screw (using either a phillips head screwdriver or a 10 mm nut driver) and then continue following the video's instructions. 2) At 2:28, again the video jumps ahead. There are 2 gold bolts just below the radio head unit that must be removed before the silver plastic outer molding shell can be removed (usa a 10 mm nut driver or 10 mm socket wrench with extension to remove these bolts). Once removed continue following the video as shown.

This looks to be the standard Toyota head unit. Is the install the same for the JBL synthesis stereo system? I have 6 disc CD changer the built in head unit. Is there an aux input in the back like on the standard head unit?

Be careful. This guy forgets to mention removing two 10mm bolts just under the head unit. Remove these bolts before pulling on the silver surround. I messed up my dash because of this guys video.
