Many thanks. On my Galaxy S-series, I had to go to Camera App -> Settings -> Shooting methods -> "Press Volume Keys to" and choose "Take picture or record video".

Omg!!! I bought 2 pcs of this shutter already because I thought there was wrong with the first shutter. My camera settings was at fault. Thank you for this video!!! Now the 2 is already working

Thanks a lot. It was because I had turned off the live option for photos, so when I turned on the live setting the remote was able to connect to the shutter function again.

I have an iPhone and i’m trying to use the Bluetooth camera shutter for a Teleprompter app. But it only toggles the volume buttons on it. Any advice on how I can fix it to click to next slide

I got mine to work by going into the iPhone settings for privacy and security>Bluetooth and temporarily disabling other Bluetooth connections that were interfering with it.

@@jacquelinelmiller Thanks. On iOS 12.5 there is no the similar option. Tried to forget a bluetooth device and to restore connection. Did not help. With others programs (out if the box Camera, PauseCam) everything is fine. I suppose this can be fixed only in the problem program. I reported the bug about two months ago. But the support group of VideoCam+ has not reacted yet.

Aaaaaaaaah! Something happened, I have no idea what and it wasn't me, and this shutter thingie began to zoom instead haha! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This was however just the first step because I'm on android but it's a setting there for anyone who wonders. Now my remote shutter works again on Android Did I say Thank you? If not ... Thank you! 😁

Perhaps you can go to bluetooth settings on your phone then disable all of the bluetooth connections that currently running. Let alone your remote shutter connected then.
